 Re: Advanced Dungeons and Dragons
Did you guys see this? http://blog.seattlepi.com/microsoft/archives/194341.aspDungeons & Dragons, Microsoft Surface are a match made in Blackmoor "Stephen Dewhurst can throw fireballs, summon lightening and fire magic missiles at demons, dragons and orcs. But whereas in the past he had to imagine these terrifying light shows, now he can see his magical attacks come to life. That's because now he plays his favorite game, Dungeons & Dragons, not with a big sheet of grid paper but with an interactive, graphical Microsoft Surface table "

 Re: Advanced Dungeons and Dragons
If used to keep track of character placement and dice roles, that would be so useful!

 Re: Advanced Dungeons and Dragons
Hello all, I am SO down with this! Being a single parent myself, I am in absolute agreement with the comments about children eating up our free time. (I think I might have figured out a way around that, though: When my son gets a little bit older, I'll encourage him to play, too. Heck, why not? I started DM'ing when I was 11.) I actually just got a new (used) laptop with Skype on it; I also have a good friend who plays WoW using Vent. Those would be definite advantages to on-line D&D. But I, like others here, have always preferred face-to-face gaming. I live in the NYC area. If anyone is interested in getting a face-to-face game together around here, please do let me know! I'm quite keen to get a group started and I'm willing to travel a bit for it. Oh, and--for those of you who honor this day--Happy Valentine's Day. Be well.

 Re: Advanced Dungeons and Dragons
Here, here! (I presume you mean Basic/Expert version, or else original AD&D? Both of them rule!)

 Re: Advanced Dungeons and Dragons
I know we have been talking D&D, but is anyone interesting in doing SW?
