Post Sidearms
Forgive me if this has been asked but I was wondering if there was anywhere to purchase resin blaster pistols. I know I could buy a plastic DL44 but I want the weight of a semi real gun. Has anyone bought a demil mauser and modded it?

Here's a site that offers resin kits of all different types of blasters. DoopyDoos
On the left side of the screen there's an option to auto-convert the prices to Euro/Pounds/US dollars.

Thank you. Thinking of buying an ANH Han Solo DL-44, it doesnt matter that its Han Solo's weapon does it?

I think Han's has a couple more greeblies on it but it shouldn't matter. Sidearms aren't required so as long as it's been used on screen you're all good.

The SE-14r is a common standard Imperial sidearm in the EU. It's most often seen in the Star Wars: Empire comics and the Battlefront games, but it originally came from ANH production photos as the "Stormtrooper Pistol."

TK-2073 recently contacted someone who makes a kit for it -- click on the link for more info.

Sweet! Shawn's done a bunch of these and I own one myself.

Thanks for the comic book reference - I was not aware of this!

Question: in the EU comic have they ever shown a holster? Right now I use the one for my E-11 as I've as yet seen one purpose built.

I have never seen a holster in the EU. I just use the power 5, it's not to big and most people know it as a "star wars" blaster.

Yeah, they show the holster in the comics, it's a WWII pistol-style one. Also, the Stormtrooper pre-production pics show the SE-14r holstered in a regular E-11 holster.

SE-14R (right hip, Resin Kit) with backup E-11 (left hip, Hyperfirm) and holdout DL-44/Power-5 (small of the back, inherited it from the wife's TI armor). Only if I need the weapons though, otherwise just the SE-14R :)

The DL-44 in the picture needs a new holster... badly

Does this qualify as a Heavy Weapons Trooper? :)
