Depends on your budget and where you are in the world (international shipping can be a pain in the butt). I got my boots from another member, who got them from AntiguaHouse on Etsy. (Don’t let the name fool you: this ain’t stuff for your beach party.) They’re based in Ukraine, by the way.

A word of warning about these boots: they’re not the most comfortable. I had to get insoles and wear thick socks with them (otherwise, it feels like you’re trudging through Siberian permafrost year-round)!

Hey y’all, I’m trooping an event on May the Fourth and out of three characters, I’m the sole Imperial (the others are Princess Leia and a Jawa). So, I’m asking if there have been situations when you’re the only Imperial, and how you stay in character.

My only concern with this costume now being a part of the Legion is trooping. How the heck would you be able to troop in that costume without everyone in a five-foot radius shooting you dirty looks?

This doesn’t scream “I’m a Star Wars costume”, because it is far too close to Third Reich stuff.

This does say “Star Wars”, because everyone has seen the OT (I hope).

The former you probably could not wear at any respectable con, the latter is fandom kosher.
