  1. Hi everyone!

I am about to start building my Wife the Thrawn costume she's been annoying me about, and I have a few questions before I get started.

I tried to find answers in the forums, but after reading pages and pages of CRL discussions, I still couldn't find what I was looking for

What have other Thrawns done to demarcate their bell curve seams?

The Tunic CRL states that there can be no visible top stitching, yet to demarcate the bell curve bicep seam, the CRL suggests a slot seam, which to my knowledge requires top stitching.
The other option is to thicken the seam allowance, which I would love a clearer example of, because my first thought was a french seam? Maybe a double french seam? I'm struggling to find any information about the demarcation, and what its supposed to look like.

Also, the princess seams, particularly on the back... there seemed to be a lot of discussion about whether they could be curved, or had to be "straight" as the CRL demands. A perfectly straight princess seam is absolutely pointless, but a princess seam that is mostly straight, and when required (like around the chest and waist) can change angle and continue on straight would be beneficial. Would this be approvable?

Thanks for your time, once I can see what I should do, I'll make a start! :)
