As a Garrison XO I look over all our new approvals.  I get excited for every newly minted trooper.  I fully support allowing new members (and existing) options.  Why? Costuming and trooping are supposed to be fun and enjoyable...part of this enjoyment goes to comfort.  If we allow our members more options and open up the add ons for our members it adds to comfort and enjoyment for our people. Also cost plays a factor.  If you as a prospect have boots that can meet a standard level it will encourage that person. In the creation process.  Yes we have standards but we can open up more options and still field high quality members without without compromise.  If the issue is a Chelsea first order style boot, allow it as a level 1 option.  Allow different pants styles.  Let's grow the legion and detachment instead of disqualifying over such truly small differences.

I ended up with a spare Captain Khurgee badge, so I'm giving it away to any current or prospective officer!

Yes, I definitely think grooves should be added for L2.  Near as I have seen, ALL Imperial belts, from ROTJ forward, had grooves.

Sorry there was a typo, right now there is no mention of grooves, I dont want to add the need at basic but I have no issue adding them to Level 2

Rogue One Officer belts did indeed have ROTJ-style grooves in them yes.  As did Solo and Mandalorian.

No notch for the hat code disc. (I'm currently working on the same officer build).

Thats correct face character requirements wont be on the new CRL.

Sticking to the R1/Solo ranks it wont matter which you choose the only thing is for L2 and 3 they will need to be push buttons and the larger type.

Yes, this is one of the reasons it is changing as the ANH staff is specific to that movie only yet members are being cleared under the wrong CRL.

So I basically just need to drop the "ANH" and start referring to it as "staff officer black" as I do have the CosplaySky type uniform?

My Name is Dan from Vermont and the New England Garrison. I am working on a staff officer black uniform (have a WIP thread going already in the “costume builds” section.) I think I should request an advisor to make sure I have everything covered and I am following the impending new CRL correctly.
