  1. I have a Wampa hat that I just purchased for a display, I was extremally disappointed. 

     

    I also just had to request an applicant get a new hat, he was wearing a Wampa hat for approval. I'm not 100% if the hat was too large for applicant or if it was just the way it was made... But the hat had a full inch+ of space between the wearers head on the side and looked way to oversized. I would suggest another vendor, some of us GML's do pay close attention to proper fitment and not just construction.

     

    Having said that, your fitment looks fine and I would approve it.  But, I am not your GML. 

     

     

     

  2. To my surprise this weekend, I learned that one of my fellow troopers in my garrison is actually personal friends with Giancarlo Esposito (20+ years). So after the crowds died down a bit, we got to spend some time and officially make him a member of our Garrison. What a cool cat!  Thought I would share with you guys.

  3. Welcome Back!  I am glad to hear that you doing so much better now after a accident like that.  What a life changer for sure! I myself just moved half way across the country when my mother was diagnosed with quick growing small cell cancer after being refused screening because of covid. If she was screened, it would have been caught and treated way earlier. Now, she was given 4-8 months.  2020 has been the year from hell for sure, but all we can do is our best and keep moving forward.  Glad that you are back to join us and I look forward to future conversations.

You can only upload so many pictures from your computer to this website.  You have to upload the photos to a 3rd party hosting site, then embed the link to the photos location at the 3rd party hosting site in this website.  Basically you can see the picture here, but it's actual location (where the file is stored) is a different website.

     

    If you want, for this time I can give you my E-mail address, you can send me the required pictures needed and I can do them for you.  But you are going to want to learn how to do this.

    I've moved on and bought another pair, it's just not worth the problems... I will just share my documented experience with others so they can make an informed decision when choosing their boot vendor. Until Hessen fix their sizing issue, I can not recommend them to anyone.  This isn't the good ol' days when you can try them on first before you purchase, we all depend on each others feedback to know if a vendor sells a good product & has good customer service.  For me, Hessen did not have either after giving them the chance to do the right thing. If I can help one person avoid getting screwed like I did, then it is all worth it to me.

Why is it OK for a company to sell a US size 12, (which is how it is sold, US sizes on the website) and not that send that size to its customers?  That's like me selling you a 12" ruler and sending you a ruler that has been scaled down to 10" in size. Sure, it might say 12" on it, but it isn't accurate. Like I said, do what you all want... I am just not supporting a company & will never support a company that does business like this. I will always recommend people to not use Hessen boots. I am out money that I worked hard to earn because of this companies business ethics. It's not just a customer service issue, it's a product issue as well.

    My suggestion to stay away from them is mainly due to the lack of making things right and refusing to fully refund my purchase. How is it my fault that I ordered a size 12 US boot and they sent me a boot clearly not even close to a size 12. Why should I pay for their mistake?  

     

    "I have complained to them about numerous times, but they won't change it"... That sums it all up, they know things are wrong but refuse to fix them for the customers.  I refuse to do business, or suggest others do business with a company like that.  If you think its OK for them to do this, by all means, continue supporting them. As I said, I would stay clear of them, but that's your choice. If you want to gamble with your money and hope you get a product that you ordered, great!

    I found a set online that I purchased, but I am not going to suggest them to others just yet until they come in and I see the quality, $130 custom made to my size. I am kinda the guinea pig on these boots but they look to be the same quality as the Hessen's.

    However, if you are wanting a set right now from a proven seller, I would get on Ebay and look up the boots offered buy the seller: aiautomotive0

    His stuff is a little more expensive, but people are happy with them and builds them to fit.

I just had an issue with them, the boots are like woman's sizes.  I ordered a size US 12 and got closer to a size 10 narrow.  They fought with me over this, I had to go out and take measurements as proof of my foot size.  Then they still didn't refund me the full price I paid and I am out money.  I would avoid them at all costs IMHO.  There are far better options to go with.
