    Description: Imperial Security Bureau Attendant
    Prefix: ID
    Detachment: Imperial Officer Corps
    Context: Andor
ISB Attendants are junior officers of the Imperial Security Bureau who serve as assistants to ISB Supervisors. They were delegated various responsibilities by their commanding officers, but sometimes also held specific appointments, such as manning the ISB datavault. The ISB Attendants worked in the ISB Central Office on Coruscant, often within the offices of their superiors.

For 501st membership only the requirements in black need to be met.
The Imperial Officer Corp Detachment defines additional, optional levels of costuming excellence. In the page below, items listed in blue are optional features that will improve the quality of the costume. Items listed in red are intended to further enhance the finished costume. Please visit the Detachment website for more specific details.

This CRL is a work in progress and is not yet ready to use for any approval!

This Visual Guide has been reviewed by the detachment staff and the LMO team and is certified for use as a minimum approval guideline for GMLs. GMLs are free to approve this costume type.
This document is not intended to be a detailed how-to on costume construction; rather a visual guide to be used for 501st costume approval. Details on construction may be found on the respective costume detachment web forum. GMLs uncertain about an aspect of submitted costume shall post questions in the appropriate DL/GML peer review section of the Legion forum. Measurements given in this document are intended to be approximate and generalized; not criteria for approval. Requirements for all 501st costumes are proportional to the wearer in scale, fit and size. Text descriptions are only one part of the guideline. GMLs and costumers must consider both text and pictures (CRL and Reference) when reviewing the costume.

Imperial Hat, Black Hat is OPTIONAL but only if a specific referenced licensed character’s typical uniform configuration is copied in full, and does not typically include a hat. Fabric is a medium weight suiting material matching the pants and tunic if applicable. Cavalry Twill or a Gabardine style weave is most accurate. Base of the hat is conical, with a crown about 4 inches (101.6 mm) tall. Front and rear “flaps” overlap on the sides, with the back flap over the front, and are about 4 inches (101.6 mm) high. Front bill extends 3 inches (76.2 mm) down, decorated with five (5), six (6) or seven (7) concentric stitches. Imperial Code Disk is positioned in the center of the front vertical flap.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Code disk has NO notch in the outermost disk.

Tunic Fabric should be a medium weight, gray suiting material. Tunic is double-breasted with a left over right closure on the tapered yoke. Yoke comes up across the shoulder to the top shoulder seam. The standing collar has square corners and is between 1.25 inches (31.8 mm) to 2 inches (50.8 mm) tall dependent on wearer’s neck size. Collar closes snug. Modesty panel is OPTIONAL. Collar edges are closed with two (2) eye hooks. There are code cylinder pockets on both outside panels of the jacket from about halfway between the top and bottom on the arm hole. Sleeves are long, and without decoration, cuffs, or buttons. Sleeves contain 2 seams; one along the bottom and one along the back. Tunic is constructed with no top-stitching (stitches visible on the exterior surface of fabric). Hook and eye fasteners on the uniform should not be visible. Optional: Up to two (2) hooks may be added through the sides of the tunic to hold belt in place. Hooks must be black.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): There is a dart of about 2 inches (50.8 mm) in the top center of the yoke. There is a seam running the entire circumference of the tunic, dividing it along a line hidden by the uniform belt. The back of the tunic has princess seams that run vertically and turn outward to intersect the arm-hole seam at the vertical center. OPTIONAL Level three certification (if applicable): Tunic is secured on the right side by snaps, hook, & bar, buttons, or unseen magnets; not hook and loop fastener (Velcro). A lining is sewn in.

Rank Bar See the Imperial Rank Bar page for more information. Rank consists of colored plastic tiles mounted on a single or double metal or metal looking bar(s). Worn on the left side of the tunic over the heart, aligned with the code cylinder pocket. Each bar is approximately 1 inch (25.4 mm) to 1.25 inches (31.75 mm) in height. Length is determined by chosen rank. Rank tile dimensions and spacing are appropriate and proportional to the sizing of the bar to allow for even spacing from each other and the border of the bar: Rogue One/Solo style rank tile dimensions are approximately 0.59 inches (15 mm) wide, 0.82 inches (21 mm) tall, and 0.12 inches (3.2 mm) deep. Original Trilogy/Mandalorian style rank tile dimensions are approximately 0.5 inch (12.7 mm) wide, 0.75 inch (19 mm) tall, and 0.125 inch (3.2 mm) deep. Rank tile sizes must all be of the same style and are not to be intermixed. Please note that final dimensions of the bar may be proportional to the wearer. Rank bar corners are a hard 90 degree angle, or slightly rounded. Rank tiles are translucent, rectangular, positioned side by side in a vertical orientation, and evenly spaced. Only blue tiles are present for ISB Attendants. Only one or two rank tiles may be present. Color, quantity, and combinations of the tiles/bars are determined by rank and are appropriate to uniform type/color as supported by licensed reference.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Rank consists of colored plastic push buttons (with white to off white insert) mounted on a metal bar. OPTIONAL Level three certification (if applicable): Chosen rank to match a specific officer seen onscreen or other licensed media.

Code Cylinders Two Code Cylinders per costume may be worn. No more than one code cylinder per pocket. Dosimeter style with correct silver clip (no brass) and Blue top.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable):
*Only real or replica dosimeters are used.

Belt The belt is constructed from a black, non-textured, leather, or a leather-like material. Approximately 2 inches (50.8 mm) in width, up to 2.5 inches (63.5 mm) is acceptable. There are no loops on the belt. A single large snap or rivet is visible approximately 1 inch (25.4 mm) from the buckle. The belt may be worn with the snap to the right or left of the buckle. It is preferred to wear the snap to the left of the wearer, unless emulating a specific licensed character. The buckle is constructed from a horizontally brushed metal, or metal looking material. The buckle size is approximately 2.6250 inches (66.7 mm) high and 4.1250 inches (104.5 mm) wide with 0.5 inches (12.7 mm) radius rounded corners. Buckle is adorned with an un-notched Imperial Code Disk at the center. Please refer to the Imperial Buckle reference page for information on accurate and inaccurate style buckles.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Belt is made of leather. Belt has a groove at the top and bottom edge along the length of the belt. Buckle has a slight horizontal curve.

Jodhpur Trousers, Black Fabric is a medium weight suiting material matching the tunic. Cavalry Twill or a Gabardine style weave is most accurate. Trousers are flared riding breeches, with semi-stiff flares to the hip/thigh area. Breeches are worn with boots. Breeches are neatly pressed or ironed without creases. Pockets are acceptable, although must not be visible with the tunic on.

Officer Boots Knee-high, black, riding style, lace-less, smooth non-textured, leather or leather-like material. Boots have conservative heels. A single stretch panel or zipper may be present, they are to be hidden on the inner part of the boot shaft. Not visible from the front, side or back. The top of the boots may be flat or Spanish Style, but not Cowboy or Super Hero (pointed at the front) style. A small V-shaped notch may be present on the back of the boots top.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Boots can have a zipper. OPTIONAL Level three certification (if applicable): Boots are made of leather. Not vinyl or PVC. Exact replicas of English riding (dress) boots or Equestrian boots.

Optional Accessories Items below are optional costume accessories. These items are not required for approval, but if present appear as described below. If adding in an accessory after initial approval, the item still needs to be submitted to local GML for approval before use.

Belt boxes (Non-Saga style) Dimensions are approximately 2 inches (50.8 mm) wide, 3 inches (76.2 mm) tall and 1 inch (25.4 mm) thick. Two boxes to be worn vertically, one each on either side of the belt buckle.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Belt boxes are made of metal or cast resin. If resin, corners have a "stepped 90-degree cutout" in the shake of a square on all four corners of the face of the box.

Gloves Black, wrist length gloves constructed of a smooth, non-textured leather or leather-like material. Enclosed fingers. No buckles, straps, etc.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Gloves have a plain back and no visible adornments. Gloves made of leather. Gloves end just past the wrist. OPTIONAL Level three certification (if applicable): Gloves have a notch centered in the edge below the palm. Slit may be straight or rounded.

Nice to see Navy Troopers making a comeback!  Several guarding the bridge of Vader's Star Destroyer.  Looks to me like they might have  followed the ESB model-black officer's uniform (jodphurs, but hard to tell if it's an ANH style tunic or not) ,no belt boxes (at least on the prominent one) and appears to have a DH-17 in the holster. Interesting mix of versions.
Edit: actually I see belt boxes now, but they seem unusually subdued.  I suppose it COULD be the lighting but it's odd that the buckle is clear and the boxes aren't.

I DO see a slight difference, but I have to say I think they're definitely close enough that the very minor difference would not matter, even for L3.

Perhaps it stands out a touch more in person than in photos - but do recall that L2/L3 applications are processed based on a review of ... photos.

    Greetings IOC,

I thought I'd make a quick mention for those who might be interested.
I've been trying to get hold of a size medium olive officer hat from Anovos for some time.  I have a large that works, but it's a bit too big if I'm being very honest.  Having tried on a Garrison mate's medium, I found it snug but usable, so I've been trying to track one down for quite a few years, including placing another order when Anovos said they were "in stock".  You can imagine how that went...
Anyway, I recently was sent an email from a company called Denuo Novo that seems to be partnering with Neca through Rubies.  I suspect this is what Anovos became, though I don't know if the same people are involved.  The logo looks similar, the sizing charts and product descriptions are the same, so I'm assuming it's at least somewhat related.
They advertised ID hats, so I took a gamble and ordered a medium in olive grey.  It arrived today and thought I'd give my impressions in case anyone else is in the same boat I was.
Fabric appears to be very similar, possibly the same. The shade however, while appearing to be of the same "degree" of color, seems to be a couple shades darker than the original Anovos.  Under some lighting the difference appears negligible, but under others it seems quite noticeable.  The top of the hat has what feels like a layer of interfacing in it, which is absent on the Anovos. The brim is stiffer than the Anovos. The greeblie it comes with is of the type Krennic had on his hat, rather than the normal disk type.   The awful leather sweatband from the Anovos is gone and replaced with a thin, soft grosgrain sweatband.
Here's a few pictures to illustrate the color difference.  Anovos has the notched disk, Denuo Novo has the R1 style. Also worth noting is that the Anovos has been trooped in for a few years, and I may have dry-cleaned it back upon its arrival. I'm hoping a trip to the dry cleaners will bring the color of the new one close enough to the Anovos that it will be usable, otherwise I'm stuck with the impossible task of tracking down an old Anovos medium.
Hope this may have  been helpful to someone.
