That’s an interesting idea.

I am serious, every single year this question comes up, and it's always Veers.
Well then it seems that the membership has an interest in this then if it’s a yearly topic. But again why do you care? How does making a CRL for him hurt you or anyone in the slightest?
If this gets asked EVERY year as you say (although I could not find one thread for this); then why hasn’t a CRL been created?

It never fails, at least once a year a new, "Why can't Veers have his own CRL" thread is started.
Are you serious with this? What difference does it make to you? You’re not being hurt by this, and I’m simply asking a question.

I believe Pryce's uniform has a different cut and is also in Grey so it wouldn't fit into the existing CRLs
I believe Pryce is gray because she’s animated, and they could keep it one constant color. If it were live action, it would undoubtedly be the same field Grau as the movies used. Especially since it took place around the same time as R1, and they were all wearing the field Grau. Which also looks gray under certain lighting. So using color in animated vs live action isn’t really valid imo

Yes I know armored Veers is not IOC. The general officers and governors at the least should have their own IMO. Why does Pryce get her own but not Veers? Only difference is rank and code cylinders?

I might have missed this, I did a search but didn’t see anything. I’m curious why we don’t have a specific CRL for General Veers. With how many named characters that have their own CRL, why doesn’t Veers have one? Most of the line officers are carbon copies of each other with some tweaks anyway. Could we not do the same for Veers?

Guys still thinking ahead , part of this trip I want to include a visit to Galaxies Edge either before or after Celebration
Can you book in advance as it’s gonna be busier than normal with all the extra SW fans in the area
You can buy Disney tix as soon as they release the august dates. You can then make reservations for the droid workshop, Savis, and Olgas 90 days before you plan on going.

Hilton does that when they haven’t released the dates yet. Castle Inn is a ten min walk according to Google, and a 15 min walk to Disney.

I'm hoping to get a room at the Marriot or the Hilton, but they won't take any reservations till August.
They’re gonna most likely be dragon Con prices too. If you don’t mind a short walk, you can book now and save $100 a night.

I got a two room suite .6 miles (ten min walk) from the CC. Not playing hotel room hunger games

As I don't know the area ( at all ) is it likely it will be held in the same venue as 2015 Celebration or is there anywhere else it could be hosted at ?
It’ll be at the same venue as in 2015.

There are a LOT of hotels within walking distance too. I did a basic loom at the Best Western suites that’s across the street, and I got $155 a night for a room that sleeps 8. So we will have options. I’m also expecting this to be in May; especially if there’s another big con in April.

I work Mon-Thur and get Friday’s off, so I usually only have to take two vacation days. Dragon is even easier since the Monday is always Labor Day.

I missed this years, which made me so sad. Really aiming to go to next year!!
Yeah me too, I was all set to go had my badge and everything. And then we got pregnant. So all cons were canceled for me this year

Ohh, I didn't realize Dragon Con was also 5 days? I think I might arrive on that Monday or Tuesday, and leave late Tuesday so I can get some Disney time in as well lol.
They just started doing programming on Thur this year; before it was Fri-Mon but everyone arrived Wed and Thur.
I plan on being out there a week. I grew up 15min from Disney, and haven't been there since 95. So gotta see my old haunts, and of course The Mouse House

Since I have not been to a Celebration since CV in Orlando (2020 will be ten years), I am bound and determined to make this one. I have been given the green light by my superior officer to attend. Disney will of course be a must; especially with it being an easy 20 minute walk from the core hotels. Right now my crew will be 4-7 strong, so that'll be a nice group to cram into one room.

It was announced Friday. In the "Announcements" area.
The change went live at that time.

Thank you for the update Jeff, I have been on baby duty and not looking at the boards

So with the system currently in place; what is the timeline? How long does each phase take to complete? What are all of the phases in the chain? What phase i this currently sitting at? How much time is left to complete it?

What is “official” though? If the movies are official and overrule all other media, and we totally ignore all other media as “mistakes” when the don’t match the movies specifically, are we getting rid of the Hask CRL for example because the programmers admitted on Twitter that it was supposed to match the movies but they screwed up?
I don’t have a care which way a rank bar is, or if a CRL is retconned when we have new info - but if we want to quote consistency let’s get real and BE consistent, not just consistent when it’s convenient and doesn’t affect people we like.
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkOfficial should be any LFL/Disney licensed property. Comics, trading cards, etc. If we limit it to just the movies; then we have to remove a vast amount of our CRLs from the library.

I know it seems like it would be a simple thing to just go and edit something... but there's hoops and hurdles to jump to get to that point. Permissions, access, all kinds of stuff. And it's being addressed! Your request isn't getting ignored, the IOC CO and LMO person have acknowledged the requests and it's pretty much in a "wait and see" pattern right now.
If you have to jump through these hoops and deal with those hurdles for something as simple as adding one frigging sentence "Rank may be worn either Red or Blue row up"; then that tells me the "system" has major flaws in it. I can understand going through them if the CRL is new, or getting a major revamp. But for adding one sentence to fix an issue that has been known for years? Common sense should tell you that a detachment CRL person and DCO should be able to fix minor things like this on the fly; without having to take a vote, jump through hoops, deal with hurdles, etc.
This should have taken a grand total of ten minutes to deal with.

I meant as just turn them so red is over blue:-D I was joking but thinking on it it is an easy fix, unless of course someone has a bar permanently attached.
I would think turning them so blue is over red is the easy fix, and the whole point of this thread. Not sure where your joke is??? Unless you have an unhealthy fixation with it being only red row up.

Thanks. I never expected it to be at the front of the line, but just given consideration.
