Angelus reacted to bjsavage7 in Admiral Versio CRL
You always have approval to work on a new costume, and you are already in the right place to seek review. You may fire when ready.

Angelus reacted to Hask in Admiral Versio CRL
As with all CRL's a costume needs to exist first, my advice study the character as it may not be a simple case of just altering an existing costume, for example the fabric may be of a different texture. add your results to the existing thread.

With the Corona Virus Issues going on now. If you are coughing or feeling unwell for trooping, do not go for the trooping. And do wash your hands when you can! And even after trooping, clean your gloves (sometime we can forget to give the glove a good cleaning) as sometime we high five people and stuff.
Maintain Good Hygiene!
It is taking pretty much taking the same measures against the common cold or flu. As sometime, we do go for convention or even trooping to hospital.

Angelus reacted to Hask in Agent Ysanne Isard proposed CRL
Correct, Armand Isard did get a CRL but that was then, the issue here is not just enough references IE the back of the tunic but also the fact things change from panel to panel.

Angelus got a reaction from AgnesAUT in How to role your character :)
I feel it starts from body posture frist. When you have a good body posture, it helps a lot in doing the frist step in the role

Angelus reacted to lantern2745 in Official CRL workload list
CRL Revision/Overhaul: Staff Officer - Black
Purpose: To have current Staff Officer CRL brought in line with it's appearances in Rogue One, Solo, and other canon sources. As it exists now, this costume is modeled primarily on ANH, which has it's own CRL.
Status: Discussion thread has been started

Angelus reacted to Tarkin99933 in Generic Republic Admiral/Officer from Clone Wars Proposal
Hello Guys
I would like to introduce this new costume as a new CRL proposal. My Uniform should represent the basic level, maybe there are some differences between the animated uniforms and mine but it is not so easy to make a new costume wich only exists as an animated version. But I think it is a nice adaptation.
Costume Sources:
Tunic and Breeches made from field grey cavalry twill (color code RAL 7009) - Darkforest Fashion
Boots - Clothears Costumes
Belt and Rank Bar - Klaus’ Frässtüberl
Gloves - Leather Gloves Online
Thank you,

Angelus got a reaction from PArmstr in Rise of the Skywalker: General Pryde Tunic
I was trying out the patterning that I did after reading some books on pattern Manipulating.
I will try to do the breakdown if I can. (and I will be editing the wording alot the way. Sorry for the in convenient)
When you do your base pattern, mark out on where is the main base on the front, as the shoulder is a different cut out.
This is how the pattern will look.
Next, draw the line that you will be doing the fold later on, try to get them in the same point.
Cut up the panels into 4 parts like the picture below. After you place this panels on a paper and give it some measurements between each other, stick them or glue them down on a paper.
After that try to get the top line to be aline to one and other then cut the paper again.
And this is how the pattern looks like after it unfold out. The pointed top will give you the indication on here your fold line will be at.
And there you have it. This is how the fold looks
And this is how on the fabric may look like after you do the cut out and sewing on it.
