Overall this is a superb build!
However, I would also like to point out that on the back pictures there seems to be a presence of the curved seams/top stitching of the back and also one seam running down the material. However, from my own research it appears to be all one piece of material.

No one is blocking anything, but like all CRLs discussions take place with all variables mentioned and people have many reasons for their views, some feel easy cheap is not for the 501st some disagree. Those that say lazy are saying it because they feel that this costume will become the norm because its easier to source items, are they correct? They believe they are, the 501st is a huge club not everyone is going to think the same

I'm just afraid that the low boots, straight trousered, no hat option is going to lead to a bunch of sloppy(?) looking officers.
Especially for Staff officers, who are gonna look from behind like they're just wearing a black suit.
I now move that the  Science Officer CRL be changed to "Off Duty Officer" and that it have two configurations: Line and Staff.
And the rank bar worn with this new CRL will have to be one that is seen on screen in conjunction with that uniform.
That gives two people a chance to be CRL models. One on each tab. Bonus!

I meet a guy who was dressing up as Boba Fett in a small event on FX/props for movies may be 2007? As I am a big fan of Boba Fett. At that time it was group was fun by 2 to 3 guys. It took sometime for me to join because I was still a student. I join in 2009 with the 501st. But I left just after a few months later because I end up got upset on the way how the people were in the group and one of the main's wife a bully I feel at that point (as I was trooping for an event. So many things bomb at my face seeing the "Real" group way. So I can't agree on joining a group if I were to face that each time I go for an event and the way how it is run.

So I left.

But only 7 years later, in 2016, I came back again because of people that I meet at UK SWC and I feel that the group did change for the better. And I hope it stays the same. And I do want if I can promo about crafting costume and how to do being together as a group.

I started this Journey in Nov 2017 when I ordered the armour kit and started a build in Costume builds in March. Now working on CRL for her Armour. 
Her Armour is a Unique . So its been a learning experience for a newbie and I owe all this awesome build of it to Jessica my Canadian Garrison buddy. She showed me what to do and she sanded and painted my armour . 
 
The Armour is 3D printed . 
 
So this is so far what I wrote for her CRL. As she is unique I don't see any levels as you need it all to be her.

Helmet
     
Open face helmet consisting of a dome (with rim) and helmet skirt. The helmet is painted a medium Grey. 2 Line on top of Helmet. Lines run from Brow to Rim. Lines are 4 cm wide. There are 2 clasps for Goggles on both sides of the helmet. 6 cm long and are attacked to back of helmet.                    o   Clasp to be between the Top of helmet and the lip of the helmet where it touches the skirt.
Imperial Code Disks are positioned on both sides of the helmet skirt. A black trim is covering the edge of the helmet skirt and forehead of the dome. Black inside of helmet.  
 
Goggles

·       Black goggles are angular and not in round shape.
·       Strap is Black and Approx 4 cm in width.
  Chest Armor
              
 
·        Officer style Chest piece and painted to match the helmet.
·        Three knobs on the left side, just next-to the center depression: Red and 2 White.
·        Lines on Armour: Right and left side lines run top across down to middle of chest and goes into the raised piece and the left side matches the right side.
·        Raised middle piece attacked to lights panels on right side
·        Double Lines at bottom right side- Open ended rectangle – closed on inside – Approx. 8cm long ending in a point.
·        Double lines at bottom Left side- Approx.  4 cm long and ending in a point.
·        Red and 2 white lights from top to bottom on right side. Light Must light up.
·        Snow trooper style ribbed shoulder bridges connect the Back and Chest Armor.
                   o   Straps are painted to match the helmet and armor.
  Back Armor
 


 
·        Officer style back armor (Its own back piece), painted to match the Helmet.
                       o   Straps are painted to match the helmet and armor.
                       o   Box raised 2 cm off the back piece.
                       o   2 rear red-light bars. Approx. 51/2 cm long and space 2 cm apart.

Bob, until you know who the team members are, I suggest you stop disrupting this thread.  I was anticipating this sort of response from you, hence the new post to answer a few concerns in order not to take over someones post. 
However, your point has been noted and we will be moving forward with the format change.

Some things for folks to keep in mind.... 
 
-We do not make CRLS when there is not a model (someone who has made the costume)
-Please mail LMO@501st.com to ask if a costume could be included into the Legion. We will get back to you in less than a day usually. 
-We do not update things willy nilly, we have to keep a few things in mind that minute details do not need to be added and when possible level 2 and 3 should be utilized. 
-Crls are guides for GMLS to approve costumes, not for makers to use as schematics.

I was going to post this in a prior thread but decided to start a new one instead of taking over someone's thread.
 
Something to keep in mind, we worked on almost all the CRL's last year and the LMO team is involved with a lot of cool upgrades for ALL the CRL's.  As much as we'd like to update every detail, we have to remember that the purpose of the CRL system is to provide a guideline for the members and GML's to use in the basic approval process.  The CRL's are meant to be a guide for approval details that are required for approval, not a build schematic for assembling a costume.  Some of the requested updates can be too detailed and not necessary for a CRL.
 
Build guides are supposed to be in the various build areas of the forum for each specific costume.
 
With this being said.  We are about to launch the CRL team program.  There will be 2, 3 members teams to work on the details of the CRL's.  One will concentrate on the Imperial era costumes and the other will be working on the First Order area. 
 
We will still take suggestions for new CRL's and updates, but the brunt of the work will be done by the staff and the appropriate teams.  This has been requested by the LMO team, due to the time it has been taking to debate every minute detail in open forum.  Not long ago, we had no say in how a CRL was made, we want to keep in the loop, so to say.  
 
The members that present an idea for a specific CRL will be kept in the process, provided a costume is in the process of being made for a CRL model.  We will not present a CRL to the LMO team without the proper, visual references to even make a CRL and a costume in process for a model.  The LMO team will no longer post an unfinished CRL.
 
While CRL maintenance is a big part of what we do, it isn't the most important part of the IOC.   The main goal is to provide a platform to assist and encourage new and present members to get and share information in the creation of Imperial and First Order uniforms  and assist them, as needed, in the approval  process.  As well as to have a fun time, helping children of all ages in our various charitable goals.

Generally we have been just doing them after review every so often. We made a few changes to various CRLS every month or so  We try and be very careful updating Green Lit CRLS as to not piss off the membership base working on the costume to much. All these things are approved by the Detachment Leader and LMO before being put into a CRL.

Sometime it takes time, as everyone have a day job to do so the update on it can be slow. For new CRL, it is better at least the done outfit to post up on the new CRL post and PM the Detachment people that an outfit is ready.

So movie like SOLO, when the DVD is only out in later of the year, So most of the people who are doing the research  on the SOLO movie outfits have to wait for more picture from the DVD.

Do not think it will because his Officer outfit is what most of the officer in that part of the movie acted.

And for Beckett in underworld detacgment, his will be his main outfit he wore.
