This is the standard, year round.  The Tampa Bay Squad (which I am in) did about 200 events last year.  That does not include the many events we had to turn down/cancel because we didn't have troopers that could attend them.

Have a look.  The one on the right is the premier fabric.  The one on the left is the standard line fabric.

I must have missed the previous posts on this, so I'm glad you posted it.  I like the look of the jackets.  Very nice.

The ONLY reason I haven't cancelled my order yet is because these are the only uniforms currently that have the "accurate" green color for the olive uniform.  While other vendors have the olive uniforms, the color is never quite right, especially when you are standing next to someone who has another olive uniform.  If I had ANY other costume from them, I would have cancelled.  I just WANT that damn color.

I wish now that I hadn't kept putting off buying the MuR uniforms, thinking they would be around for a while.

The good thing is it is black.  It is not as difficult to match the black fabric.  Not to say that it is easy, but not as difficult to do if it was the olive uniform.  He might be able to find some matching fabric at a local fabric store.

Some close ups with the flash on and off might help.  Or pictures taken out side may help.  The problem with black is that it can be hard to see the fine details.

Or we can just expand the scope of the "Officer Corps" to include all costumes from the Imperial Navy

Most of the people I work with think it is cool, if a bit strange.  But when I tell them we do a lot of charity stuff, they take it a lot better.

Not really.  I think if you were to go onto the FB page for McDonalds and ask for a real picture of their hamburgers, you're either going to get the same response, or just a picture from their advertisements.  No one is going to walk back into the kitchen and take a picture of a hamburger for you.

I'm a big fan of the MuR caps, even if they are not quite as tall as they should be.  I have one and troop with it.  They have more of a "military cap" look to them, and they have that edging along the front and back flaps, which almost no one has if they are buying a fan made one.  In my opinion, the only reason you shouldn't use the MuR cap is if it is falling apart on you.

It also happens within our ranks (501st)  IE buying Anovos Stormtrooper armour at $350 then selling it to members at $200 more

Yeah, I still can't imagine the board meeting that took place where they decided because of this incident, lets stop selling toy guns.

Maybe they still sell them at Disney stores in the malls.  Or maybe we can find them on liquidation sale somewhere.

Yeah I dont think it would be too difficult to add a modesty panel.  However, it is disappointing that there is not one.  I can't remember if the prototype they had originally had shown a modesty panel or not.  Just for giggles I looked at the website now and the pics they have up now shows no panel.  *shrug*.

I dont believe those hats are the Anovos hats.  They look similar to the ones I took pictures of a few months ago that I found at Epcot.  The price is the same as the ones I found a few months ago, that is why my assumption is they are not the Anovos hats.

    Edit
Looking back at my pics from the other hats a few months ago, there are differences between the two, mostly the detail of the code disk and how it is attached.  If those hats at the Launchbay are the standard line Anovos hats, there is going to be a lot of unhappy people.

As someone who troops as both a TK and an officer, I would probably say that wont be too feasible.  You could certainly carry the small officer pieces (belt, rank, cylinders) in the 50gal bin, but there wont be any room for boots and the uniform.  And as John said, you would probably get major wrinkles in the uniform if you tried.

I keep mine in my bin.  I place my rolled-up belt in the cap and then lay it in the bin upside down (laying down on the top side of the cap).  As the belt unrolls itself, it will push against the sides of the cap and help kinda keep it in a circular shape.  You could accomplish the same thing using a small box and put it in your sports bag.  Of all the pieces of an officer, the cap is probably the one that needs to be protected the most.  As you have experienced, if you get any major creases or crumpling on the cap, it is hard to correct it.  And frankly, you want to have the cap look as crisp and straight as possible.

What Kris said. I'm not a fan of the way they are doing business, but I bought a Line Officer when they were on sale on May 4th.  Sadly, we are ALL waiting on them to deliver their Star Wars stuff.  And now it would seem that Disney is getting first dibs on what is being produced by them.  Makes me wonder when we will eventually see our stuff.
