  1. something more abbreviated may be better and it is something that we can consider.  Also remember that we have some First order officer uniforms which is why we have Imperial in front of some and First order in front of others.  But this is something to be considered. the names are convoluted.  I would rather not use Line or Staff for new production costumes as they are fan created and have no basis in what we are looking at.  That doesn't mean we can't come up with something shorter and works better.

    Ah, that looks like it.

I didn't know it branched out from the OT that much. And the name is quite confusing, I'm expecting something more generic(Don't know if the movie/TV series really gave them that name?)

They are completely different uniforms the ones you see in the new movies and shows and what was seen in the OT.  The write up will take you through the particulars there.

The ANH Staff officer has not been changed at all in either name or content.

The Security officer is named after what the LFL productions call them and it reflects all of the details and options we have seen with the recent productions since Rogue One to today.

  3. Meero has a number of differences with her uniform and her unique accessories.    Generally we do not duplicate that already exists with a named character.   However, if you see a generic costume that only has a model of one gender, we are considering having a second model of the opposite gender.  This can be seen with a few CRLS already with the dual model.

Also, if there are unique differences with an established uniforms as a base, that can be considered too.  We would be glad to run it by the LMO office, but generally, if you can do the costume already and be approved, our priorities are not centered on breaking it out, but on new unique to the legion costumes and CRLs.

It is good to meet you.  We have you with level 3 access here.  Please join the officer's mess group on facebook if you can.

The question we ask when creating a CRL is "can you already do it?"  What difference is there if any from what is written in the CRL that you had this costume approved and what you want to do.  It will be a question asked if we take it to the LMO office.

  5. This is something we are working on in conjunction with the new website that is being built.  The videos will primarily focus on the costumes, the parts that make them up and the lore that surrounds them.  We want them to have sufficient quality that not only would they be of use to members but to non members including those completely unfamiliar with the Star Wars costuming world.

you’ll be seeing the first efforts soon.  This is under our DPRO department

  6. You didn't put it in the right place. I have moved it to the New CRL area.

I have also named it properly with the name of the character you want to create. Gallius Rax.

Here is the problem. You need official art to be able to work from. There is a lot of fan art of this character, but little that I know that is official. Fan art is a no go. And if I remember from the Aftermath novels, what Rax wore was a red robe with his green naval uniform.

We need something we can source to be official. Not fan art. Or it would be a never ending avalanche of fan art. for the CRL team.
