Let's start with the question of why Pryce gets one. Simply put her uniform is 100% different. Animated uniforms in general are 100% different from the movies.
I can't just wear my normal green suit and say "I'm Kassius Konstantine", the rank bars and code cylinders are different shapes, the boots aren't perfect matches, the collars have those black marks on them, the hat disks and belts are totally different. There's nothing I can use from my movie uniform and have it be approved as an animated officer.

What's different between Veers, Piett and Needa? Number of code cylinders and rank bar tiles. "But Ozzel has a mustache!" He sure does, but his uniform and accessories are exactly the same as every other officer in the original trilogy. "But Motti and Tagge don't wear hats!" You're right, we don't see them wearing hats and many others in A New Hope are hat-less. But the uniforms and accessories themselves are the same as all the others. "But Tarkin gets his own CRL!" You're right, he does, and about 95% of his uniform is exactly the same as all the others. But he has the dress shirt under his uniform and a very specific hair style and facial features. Admittedly that doesn't really seem like enough to warrant a whole separate CRL, but if I go troop an event as Veers, and halfway through I decide to change up my code cylinders and rank bar and walk back out as Piett that's a 5 second change. If I start an event as Tarkin and want to change to Jerjerrod I'd have to wash my hair, clean off my old man makeup, take off the dress shirt under my tunic, add a hat and change up all the other accessories. Not as simple/quick.

But for arguments sake lets say the Detachment Leader decides to publish a Veers CRL. Great. Now people want Motti, and Tagge, and Piett both admiral and captain, and Khurgee... the list is endless and all we're doing between those CRLs is changing accessories, facial hair, and hair styles. That's just a nightmare for the detachment staff, LMO team, and webteam.

My proposed counter idea would be to have character specific galleries in the CRL similar to the TIE Pilot helmet detail examples - https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TI_TIE_Pilot_Helmet-detail
Similar idea, just list named officers and show an image of their accessories and a small text description example: General Veers - X# of code cylinders in X style, rank bar is X rows with X red tiles and X blue tiles

I understand the want to be an officially approved Veers vs. just a line officer, but there's nothing stopping any of us at a troop saying, "Hi, I'm General Veers" when talking to fans.

If I can wear my Sullustan mask and my green suit at an event with no one wagging an angry finger at me and throwing ban hammers for wearing an "unapproved costume" then I am someone that wants a Prescreening Officer or whatever it will eventually may be called. I do like Jeff's suggestion of it being a tab with the Warrant Officer.

Some Garrisons and Command Staffs have weird long histories of ruling their members with iron fists about what can and can't be worn at events, anything that helps members get to live their best IOC life is always a good thing.

I wonder if we could add a second version for the "green" uniform to the Warrant Officer CRL?  That would cover the "prescreening" configuration in a logical place.

I agree there is a lot of info in this thread to throw into 1 CRL, but isn't this why tabs were introduced? Prescreening Officer seems like a good one to just be a tab

I'm not very far in to the story yet, but I am loving that we're getting Star Wars stories far away and beyond the normal eras we're all so use to.

Since we can only speculate right now until the game is actually out I'm going to guess that the guy with the jacket and goggles on is some type of maintenance/flight deck technician. The way the lighting is it makes it look like he's wearing a jacket and not a flightsuit, so that might be problematic when trying to make some CRLs if all the costumes are in that kind of dramatic lighting.

More speculating/wishful thinking - I hope during the single player mode the story spans maybe a year and we can see Admiral Slone in the beginning (as pictures above) and then the story mode ends with us (the players) on our way to Jakku and we get our orders from her as Grand Admiral (and then the sequel game can be the Battle of Jakku and beyond).

    Hello everyone!!

In this time of isolation and social distancing, we are going to have a hard time sharing any "May the 4th be with you" greetings this year.
With that in mind, I have set up a Facebook page to post any May the 4th videos you would like to share. I invite any of my 501st Legion, Rebel Legion or any other Star Wars group or fan to share a short video on this page.

Sorta, it's obviously not 100% the exact same costume from SNL, but yes, Radar Tech's are canon now.

Hi Amy, I didn't want you to think anyone was ignoring you.
This costume is in a weird holding pattern for the moment. There's not a lot of good references available right now of the entire costume (mainly the back). Once the movie is available for home viewing in a few weeks that'll help move things along. I know being told to wait sucks but sadly there's no much else we can do until someone is able to pause the movie and zoom in in high definition.
I'm the XO for the Gunners detachment by the way, so I'm sure we'll be seeing each others posts a lot while you're working on this.

Here's the color comparison. Upper left is the cavalry twill, upper right is my own fabric used for this costume, dyed to match the color of the first. Second row is unaltered white twill.

I hope this costume can happen, it would be awesome for more Ysanne love. (Armand was made canon again, here's hoping she will be too someday).

The last time this suit was proposed I argued the case that the tunic isn't white, it's a cream like this ISB, or even a few shades darker.
Both characters have white hair and the tunics are a very different color.

Also, I'd say that the pants aren't black, they're gray. Again, her hair is the key color difference. Her  hair is very much black, as are the boots, and the pants are very much a different color than both of those.

You've made a fantastic tunic, but so far white is only seen on Grand Admirals and Krennic. Maybe we'll get some new content featuring another Grand Admiral and we can finally get that costume to have two versions like the Legends version (Rae Sloane has only 1 image from the belt up in her GA suit and there's no images at all of Balanhai Savit yet).

I have to correct this! Looks pretty white here but I actually dyed it to match my cream colored cavalry twill (from the well known fabric run). I will provide a pic to prove this, so stay tuned

I have a piece of elastic on the bottom of my leg that loops under my foot, so I'm standing on that elastic while trooping and it keeps my pant legs tucked into my boot.

Pablo Hidalgo wrote the book and it came out not long after Solo, I'd say that makes it canon enough (being that it's officially done by the story group and it's not out of date material with no official sources).
