Well, about 2 years ago, we had a couple of seamstresses there working with us, I got them to successfully reduce the flares on my line officer jodhpurs by 4 inches. They have since expanded and are cranking out 20 of these uniforms a week and are very much into assembly line production. Many requests fall on deaf ears. Honestly, given the amount of material you have to work with, it is easy enough to reshape them and sew the seams back yourself, especially if you are proficient on a machine.

Dangit, just noticed my rank bar is crooked! Gah! Science Officer, indeed.

So we have solid evidence to proceed with a CRL or a modification. Honestly, I would list the combination of small belt boxes, code cylinders with silver clips, rank bar, and Helmet as an optional Rogue One configuration on the existing staff officer CRL. This should not require a new CRL as it is a R1 Officer variant, in my opinion.

Homie is skinny! Not much one can do about that! My belt is also barely clinging on, but for opposite reasons! Lol

This turned out great, sir! An excellent uniform on you. More should do this one, I think we may have enough to get it through!

Excellent work mate! Will get this one sorted out!

Looks really great Ben!! Very nice work. I just had a question about your belt though. Are the holes going to be a problem? Im also wondering about those two back pockets. Im sure they're okay, but I think they should not be visible.
Lol yes, you are absolutely right, I need to pull up the pants. I have them on a belt now but may install some suspenders down the road. As for the holes in my belt showing, let's just say I've grown with the Empire

Okay folks, I have completed my prototype, having gotten the rank bar and the uniform together from cosplaysky. I know I will have to hem the trousers, but it's a good start. They even put in two back pockets!
What do you guys think???

Sadly, this is why I advise that a photo hosting service is never your SOLE storage mechanism. I know it is for many people, and that can be a problem when things like this happen.
Oh certainly! I have all those images SOMEWHERE on my hard drive. Going through 3 years of posts and uploading the photos again however is just not realistic. I noticed over on a Rebel Legion thread that I was looking at just yesterday. This will certainly make problems for people.

If you guys haven't noticed, Photobucket image hosting is down. Though the banner says temporarily locked out, having read the terms of service that have just changed, it seems photobucket has decided it's free service will no longer support 3rd party image hosting. To retrieve your photos, you must agree to pay a minimum of 199.99!!! I had decided a year ago or so that their ads were annoying and switched to Imgur, but many photos in tutorials and most of my Troop Log will have to be redone. I will not pay that for terrible service! Those of you who use photobucket should jump ship for other image hosting sites that are free! i will slowly work on updating my pics in my troop thread, but I sense many resources across the legion's boards will be lost to this update. I cannot track down all of my pictures going back to 2014 on individual threads!

Just a heads up Sean, I have been following this thread closely and am hoping to complete this costume based on your crl soon! Keep up the great work and we'll get this thing approved!

Looks outstanding to me! Good luck!

Question: Will we be treating this one as a face character? I.e., do we need to have this guy's hair, or is it just an officer uniform with straight leg trousers and chelsea boots?
-
Good to hear! I managed to order a red shirt from them before they stopped offering Trek stuff, and it was super baggy but otherwise ok. I went to a tailor and had it adjusted and it cost 28 bucks. I told their customer service and they refunded the 28 right away. They always make it right.

We had a thread on this like a year ago that showed the racks of rifles in the Deathstar behind IN's controlling shield generator. You can kind of see them in above pic. I do not bluray so I don't have screen capture ability.
-
They do have them on the wall in the Deathstar, and in use during the battle of Endor. Blastech seems to be happy providing weapons to both sides.

Interesting stuff! We need more pictures!

Beautiful figure. But I could buy another IOC uniform or blaster prop for that price! Alas, I will have to make do with my hasbro one. Besides, action figure shouldn't have a better uniform than me!
