I think we should aim for Sundaynight. As people are arriving on thursday and people might not be up for a trip back into the city that takes 30 to 40 minutes by tube. 

Sunday we might have a more relaxed atmosphere perhaps.

I would like to suggest that it would be good to find a venue close to the convention centre. Alot of us a flying in on thursday and talking from experience there will be an unofficial meet and creed at some the closest pubs.

That way we can come straight from the Coctails to all the other fun

And I cannot find anything about the Sail Barge, can anyone help

Yesterday I spent a fair amount of time posing, trying to get good shots for my trading cards for Celebration. Decided to play around a bit with one of the pics. Not to be narcissistic I think this one came out great.

I just got my uniform and despite giving them all of the measurements mentioned above it´s still to large. It´s like they just pulled the standard xl sized from the shelf and shipped.

 

The neck circumference is 49cm but my measurements are 43cm. I took the uniform to a professional seamstress and I have to pay 150$ for alterations so I can used it.

A bit disappointed, but I´ve sent them a complaint.

I know this company has a pretty good rep in general when it comes to their costumes, but how good is the quality (ie.sewing, thickness of material, etc.) of this particular uniform? I have a friend who bought their Han ANH shirt and one of the seams ripped open literally 2 hrs after he wore it to a con for the first time. He said the fabric seemed pretty flimsy and the quality of the sewing was ehhhhhh at best.

I have an Indy shirt from them along with the pants. And I´ve used the shirt just as casual as any other shirt. Really comfortable, it´s been with be on many campings and hikes and not one rip. Same goes for the pants solid piece of clothing. 

Oh almost forgot, I also have the indy bag from Magnoli as well, really well made.

I don´t have a problem with the price as Anovos is charging 1500$ for theirs.
