    Hi!

Gah, so I'm trying to decide on ordering either a medium tunic or a large one from Wampawear. https://wampawear.com/product/olive-green-imperial-officer-tunic/?attribute_pa_size=medium

Here are my measurements in centimeter:

    Height 180
    Neck 41

    Body Length 58
    Chest 101

    Waist 97

    Hips 110
    Shoulders 50

    Sleeve length 68
    Bottom width 105

    Inside inseam 65  (pants)

I got the advice to ge a large tunic (and large pants, jodphur) when I assumed I should be getting a medium one (complete with large pants), but it seems to me like an awful lot of extra fabric, especially across the chest? Is that standard, though? How much extra should have one without looking wierd? What is your experience with officer sizes? Grateful for any insights. Thank you!

    Wampawear's size chart for reference:

    Tunic S   M   L   XL   XXL   XXXL
cm/in cm in cm in cm in cm in cm in cm in
    Height 175 68.90 180 70.87 185 72.83 190 74.80 195 76.77 200 78.74
    Neck 40 15.75 42 16.54 44 17.32 46 18.11 48 18.90 49 19.29
    Body Length 77 30.31 80 31.50 82 32.28 84 33.07 86 33.86 88 34.65
    Chest 100 39.37 106 41.73 112 44.09 117 46.06 122 48.03 128 50.39
    Waist 96 37.80 102 40.16 107 42.13 113 44.49 118 46.46 122 48.03
    Shoulder 46 18.11 47 18.50 48 18.90 49 19.29 51 20.08 54 21.26
    Sleeve length 59 23.23 62 24.41 64 25.20 66 25.98 67 26.38 68 26.77

So, I hope this helps, but I'm 5'9", 150 lbs, and when I had CosplaySky make my original uniforms, I used the below measurements.

    Height 177 cm

    Weight 70 kgs

    Chest 92 cm

    Waist 85 cm

    Hip 101 cm

    Neck 39.5 cm

    Shoulder Width 48 cm

    Shoulder to Waist 48 cm

    Arm Circumference: 30.5 cm

    Waist to knee 51 cm

    Outseam 96 cm

    Inseam 72 cm

    Thigh circumference 55.5 cm

    Arm Length 60 cm

    Cuff Circumference 15.5 cm

    Calf circumference 35 cm

I just ordered the Olive Green wampa wear Medium, and they just fit.  I wouldn't say it's tight, but you look to be a little larger than me, so I'd also recommend Large.  I can freely move in the tunic without feeling like the back is going to split, but when I lift my arms up I feel it like I wish I had an additional inch on the length of the sleeves.  I'm super skinny so the waist of the pants are fine because I can use the draw strings that come with it to pull it in, but the length is just long enough for me... again I wish I had an additional inch on the length of the pants.

If you want to see me in my suit, just click on the link in my signature.

    Thanks,

    Chris

    Hello!

I want to join the 501st and would like to start by ordering a complete Officer uniform from Wampa Wear: https://wampawear.com/product-category/uniform/

But I'm wondering what I else I need than the uniform? What's the best, most convenient (I'm a lazy Imp) way of getting the accessories right? Where should I order pins/medals etc from?

Hello and welcome.  Joey's advice above is great.

I'd just ask do you know which Officer you're going for as there are a few different CRLs, and depending on which you choose will help determine what you need.

No matter what you are getting, Wampa Wear is great and you'll get the tunic, trousers, hat, belt, and potentially gloves from him.  The uniform sizing is true to US standards, so if you wear a Medium normally, get the medium.  Unlike the flightsuits, the uniforms seem to match up great.

As for accessories, I always recommend, like Joey did, Philoprops for the code cylinders and belt boxes.  if you can, spend the few bucks extra and get the real dosimeters he sometimes sells.  The sizing on the belt box will be determined by the CRL.

Note when you order the hat, if the disk has a notch or not, again depending on the CRL.

Pick your favorite star wars Officer and get the matching rank bar... make sure to get push button and not the plexi glass (for the higher level submission should you choose to later on).

If you get a blaster, get the holster from Darminsprops on Etsy.  He does excellent leather work and I have his e-11 and SE-17R currently, and in the past had a few others of his.  Always a perfect fit for the blasters.

Last are the boots.  I've purchased pairs from AntiguaHouse and MilitaryclothesUSSR on Etsy.  Both are great... just a matter of which have in stock the correct ones... remember, you want the higher riding boot style, not the jack boots as they won't work for the Officers.

    I hope that helps.

Bumping this back up, everyone. I've had trouble locating suitable headbands, but think I now have a solution. If anyone is still interested, I'll do a run.

I'd be interested still also.  Just let me know the total + shipping to the US (zip code 27529).

    Thanks.

OK chaps, I reckon I can make these finished for £28.00 GBP. UK post and packing will be £5.70. I'll work out the overseas shipping later.

I'd be interested in this too... for General Veers.  I think the only difference would be having a black tip (and maybe not having the cord running from the headset to be plugged in).

    Shipping to US - 27529

  5. I don't know if this matter either way, or not, but thought I'd chime in in case it helps.  Although I'm one of those folks that believes if it's seen on screen then it should be good in a CRL, I do completely understand about something like FO boots should only be for FO and not OT.

I did speak to David Crossman in 2017 or 2018, and at the time I was talking to him, via email, about the Solo Fleet Trooper (which at the time the concept was for them to be a female only group so I didn't really dig too much deeper after finding that out).  But, I can provide an email, if it matters, where he did tell me that in Solo, they did use some FO boots when they ran out of the others...

Per Mr. Crossman:  "As they [referring to the Fleet Trooper] are wearing breeches, we use[d] the taller officers style field boot with buckle at the top to fit it at the calf, and we would preferably use a boot with a heel rather than a wedge (the wedge soles are 1st order but they are in our tock so are used sometimes when we run out of boots.)"

Anyhow, that's why in Solo, and probably R1, we see some minor background folks with the F.O. boots.

At any rate, I love what you all are doing... consolidating yet keeping it simple.  Brilliant, and will pay off in the future for sure!

I'll put something together this evening. :)

    - Jeff

Hello.  With the new year, I'm hoping we can revisit this :)
Get an idea on what's being looked at to be updated and see if additional help is needed anywhere to make things happen.

So question then...how do I gain milestones? I've been trooping the past 2 years in my line officer and GA.. and would easy have 25+ troops up..so how does this work?

    You can go here: https://www.imperialofficer.com/forum/index.php?/forum/47-imperial-hall-of-commemoration/

Make a thread where you post the event attended and attached a pic for each event.  After a certain number, you get a recognition... 25 troops, 50 troops, etc :)

I like the idea.  As of right now, there is only one NTTL CRL being worked on, and one existing that I am definitely want to get a rework going on.

For the moment, the list would be pretty small so I'm not sure we need to have it.  But we'll keep it in mind!

    - Jeff

Thanks... that's great.  It's just nice to know what's in the works and pipeline.  Are you able to let us know which is being worked on and what one you'd like to get a rework going on?

I think that's all the info needed which would make a great sticky.  That way, anyone curious as to what is being worked on and/or what's upcoming to be worked on, can be viewed by members.  I know a few times over the past few years I've been curious as I'm sure others have been too.

Also, if we can see what's being worked on or what's upcoming, it may help to bring in ideas, proofreaders, or chat to help it along.
Again, all just an idea to keep the gears in the IOC going :)

That's not a bad idea, I think I like that.  We'll discuss some options for something along these lines.

    Cool, thanks.

It can be something simple like...

    IOC CRLs:

    New / WIP / Proposed:

    1. xxx

    2. yyy

Revamping or maybe Re-wording or Updating:

    1. xxx

    2. yyy

And if their is a build thread or WIP thread, maybe the link can be attached here.  Just a thought.

  10. Hello.

This may exist somewhere as I know we've all talked about this before, but can we sticky a "Working List" of what CRLs are looking to be updated and maybe keep it updated quarterly?  Even it's it is just a brief outline of what's being worked on and what's in the pipeline.

I'm curious what CRLs are being worked on currently and if there is discussion, and it's open to all members, would like to view it.  Just curious.

  13. I just bought my 9 year old an ISB Agent from eBay.  About $65 from China, and custom measurements.

    It's pretty decent.  I'd recommend.

Good for Galactic Academy.  Material is a little off, and collar has no modesty panel, but it looks good otherwise.
