Greetings from Paris and the French Garrison, where I transferred to after a number of years spent in my hometown and Home Garrison, Tyranus, Virginia.

Following up on the previous thread concerning the eventual creation of a dedicated ISC Group within the IOC and the recommendation that we should start logging our Scanning Crew troops, here goes...!

Start a thread and encourage other scanning crew photos to be added. If it takes off then we can think about forming a costume based IOC group like the already mentioned Firebirds and Regional groups.

I like the idea of this. Have you considered maybe making it a "Crew" group... including Scanning Crew, Bridge Crew, and Mechanical Crew? I think that would be a nice niche group that could be fun! Just a thought. Either way, I'm hoping to get my Scanning Crew approved soon.
That could indeed be a possibility...

First and foremost, I see it as a way for all scanning crew to get together and discuss topics ranging from costume confection to filmography!
The other point is to promote the group within the IOC/Legion/Star Wars community at large and rally behind a specific and less-known aspect of Star Wars.
The idea is not to be a break-away of the IOC, just one of its branches that is proud of what it is and gets people with a common interest together.

I am gauging interest for the creation of an Imperial Scanning Crew Group within the IOC but don't really know how to go about it and more specifically, don't want to do anything out of line with Legion and IOC policy....
Does anyone have any comments or suggestions?
As I said, the idea is firstly to see how many of us would be interested in this and then take it from there....
