Hello IOC! I am looking for some assistance. Fellow 501st (19083) here but I currently do not have any IOC costumes and only BH and DZ costume, so forgive me for being clueless here.
I'm helping a fellow garrison member with their Cadet jacket. Normally, I sew things for others for various detachments, but this jacket is beyond my skill set. Since I can't physically sew one, I am hoping anyone here, member or detachment leadership, could offer any help.
My fellow member ordered a jacket from etsy, and it while the photos the seller had were perfect, what he got in the mail is not approvable or can be altered. The piping is off, and I doubt there's any seam allowance to shift it to the correct spot.
What I'm hoping to help them with is to see if there is anyone here who made one or had any type of pattern that they could provide so a local profesional seamstrsss could make.
I know it's a long shot as there aren't many of these costumes in the legion, but I'm hoping there's someone who might have some helpful info.
