Its a really nice visual guide ! ThanksThis has been making the rounds lately in our Garrison and on social media, thought it would be worthwhile to share here as well. Great place for a newbie to start when they’re looking for an easy and versatile costume combo.

If you are so inclined, you could always make one yourself - there are cheap/lightweight airsoft alternatives, or metal Denix based options. Shapeways has an excellent 3D printed parts kit as well.
thank you for the information

Howdy all!
I was just wondering if anyone knows of prop maker who makes and accurate and good quality Merr sonn Blaster for Staff officer?
Thank you for your time

Thanks for the feedback!
I'll probably wait until I get the boots then make a decision on taking them in, more tapered would probably be better.

Hello,
Apologies for another question, the lower part of the trousers are quite baggy, I was wondering should I take this in or leave it as it is?
I would worry if the trousers bunched too much in the Boots? or best to test it out when I get the boots.
Thank you all

No problem. We had the same talk on the BF page.
Some guys were saying snowtroopers sent approved to carry DLT19s. I said BS.
Once your approved you can alter your kit as long as you can change it back for LFL events.
Our purpose is to wear plastic and make kids smile.
No one is putting Tigger in a detention center for carrying a blaster not on the CRL.
I'm here for fun.

Wouldn't mind a DLT for my Snowie either !
Thanks again

Most troops are Non canon events. It's usually posted in troops if it's an LFL event and must be cannon.
The other %90 of your troops carry whatever weapon you want.

There are typically two event classifications, canon and non-canon (unofficial) Trooper survival guide is a great read http://databank.501st.com/databank/TrooperSurvivalGuide

A Merr Sonn will probably fit a DL44 holster, but I don't know if it will look "right" in it. That depends on the specific cut of your holster. They're the same base, though, so it's likely to at least fit inside.
You could probably sell your DL44 holster pretty easily, though, and use the funds to buy a specific MSP5 holster instead.
You're right I could sell it off, I'll know as soon as it arrives thanks for the feedback !

Some of our members will carry a DL-44 at unofficial events but they are a no go for approval photos or cannon events
What do unofficial troops mean just out of curiosity?? All troops would be official no? Like Hospital Visits, charity fundraisers that we would o etc.
As far as I'm aware ANH Tie pilots carry the DL-44 although it is not an optional accessory for them. The same way Snowtroopers use DLT 19 even though it is not an Optional accessory also. Only E-11 and DL-44 for them.
Thanks for the feedback so far appreciate it

seems I've gotten the wrong holster so haha
Although I may get away with fitting a Merr Sonn blaster into it.

Hello
Apologies if this is a silly question, but is the DL-44 allowed as a sidearm for Staff Officer?
Thank you in advance.
