We can say that we "know" what a Director rank bar is supposed to look like, however this is using a new rank system developed for Rogue One. R1 came out ages after Ysanne's appearance.
We also know irrefutably that the rank system of the Empire is a complete shambles, with very little consistency outside of a handful of face characters. What we piece together and "presume", trying to make sense of it all using information corroborated by other sources. Books, comics, card games, etc. The only ranks we can say are "sure things" are the R1 and Solo ranks, thanks to a rank system (which again, often contradicted a lot of the information we thought we "knew" from previous media) provided by Glyn Dillon. That alone reads to me like a conversation along these lines happened: "oh god this rank system is a nightmare, we should really hammer this down". So they did. Holding the entire back catalogue of Star Wars, Ysanne included who held the title of Director years before Krennic appeared, to the rules set down barely a few years ago doesn't seem right to me. StarWars is a massive, sprawling and expansive universe that has been contributed to by many creators over the decades. Stuff created way back when does not and should not be forced into the same rule structures necessarily as stuff created in the last couple of years.
If blue over red was a mistake, that happened once or maybe twice? Then yes that's an inaccuracy and there is nowhere near the same grounds for inclusion in a CRL under official capacity. The fact that blue over red appeared again, and again, not just in the official comics but in external licensed media such as figurines and card games, shows that whether any of us like it or not? It is an accepted rank bar designation. Any arguments featuring "but Director Krennic" can be shelved, it's  like deciding modern-day rank systems retroactively apply to everything in the past. When Ysanne existed, she existed in her own time with her own set of rules, and during that time, blue over red was an acceptable configuration.

If I may... I think a line with optional configuration is very good idea. We should consider that Isard is from EU and EU has different rights than new Canon (especially that Isard have different color of uniform than others officers). And we have a mess with ranks, so... Both options are good.
And maybe good idea is to check how Armand Isard wear his rankbar (he was also the Director) and compare them?

If I may chime in here.  What Neil is asking for is not a coloring error.  I know Mike Richardson and am good friends with Randy Stradley of Dark Horse comics.  He oversaw all of these comics that Issard was featured in.  Her rank is more often than not seen Blue over Red.  

If I may, Director is not a rank, it is a title.  Pablo Hildalgo even shows this in the visual guide for the film.
 Krennic wears the rank bar of a fleet admiral.  His title is that of Director of Special Weapons for Imperial Intelligence.

This is not unlike our own US CIA sometimes having civilian and military directors of the agency.  When they are military officers, their rank may vary from Lieutenant general to 4 star general, but they are all called Director.
 
This is such a small thing and it would mean a lot to the women who wear this costume if they can wear it the way they fell in love with the first time they saw Issard.

We were visiting the "House of Astronomy" in Heidelberg (Germany) on that day. There was a baby child that could barley walk and was obviously wondering what kind of guys we were. That child looked so cute and sweet - I communicated with it. And how can you do that best: being nice and showing a smile (mostly to take away some possible fear from the children ). Luckily my dad took that shot and to save this moment.

Those boots wouldn't be approved unfortunately. The top is all wrong and the stitching and strap on the front of the foot are all wrong.
 
If you're looking for an affordable basic boot, you should look for a pair of PVC boots. Ovation Derby/Cottage are good. 

A while back I tried to get a "generic moff" CRL approved, the idea was shot down as just being the same as a Line Officer.
I also tried to get a Jagged Fel CRL approved, there's just as much official art of him as there is Daala. I was pretty much told that if I would have tried to do Fel 10 years ago I'd have a chance, but not now.
 
The argument comes back up about once a year of why we, the IOC, don't do CRLs of specific characters.
Our list of CRLs is already quite long and insane could you image if Veers, Panka, Piett, Needa, etc. all got their own separate CRLs 
 
Personally I would love it if we could in fact have a gallery in the CRL of "approved face character options" or something similar. "To be Veers you must have..." etc.
That's pretty much what the level 2 and 3 stuff is for. 
 
I know none of this is the happy answer you wanted, but a story showing that I totally understand what you're going for and dealing with. Best hope you have is that your GML is cool and will understand that CRLs aren't made based on individual characters but trooping in a cannon configuration is encouraged.
