  1. Hi

I've also noticed that the price on Cosplaysky.co.uk for the Deluxe Imperial Staff Officer is £77.77, while on Cosplaysky.com it's $79.99.  I haven't checked shipping costs but it may work out cheaper ordering through the ".com" website.  It's all coming from China after all!

  2. Hi

Thanks for the tip, unfortunately I live just South of Aberdeen in Scotland.  Looking online, other than Hobbycraft, the nearest fabric shop I have is 30 miles away in a small town called Inverurie.  I don't hold out much hope of finding anything locally, that's why I was looking for an online retailer.

Looks like you are spoilt in London.  I went on Google Streetview and counted 17 textile shops between the Costa and the tube station.  Just a few hundred yards!

I like living in a slightly more remote area of the country, but sometimes....

    Thanks anyway.

  3. Hi Robert

I've just noticed the discussion in the "HOWTOs, Tips and Tricks" forum about supply of gabardine fabric.  I have no idea how I missed that one!

I must say I'm really excited by the prospect of two possible sources of supply for the Olive fabric

I'd be really interested in helping out in any way I can, even if it's just registering an interest at this time.

    Regards

  4. Hi All,

This is probably a question that's been asked a number of times in the past, but I can't find an answer when searching the forum.  Does anyone have a source either in the United Kingdom, or who ship to the UK at a reasonable price, for Line Officer Olive Drab fabric.

I've got a sample from Calico Laine of an Olive gabardine but it seems too dark and green!

I believe from some posts that the "correct" colour for these uniforms is RAL7009, which is quite a bit paler.

    Thanks for your help.

    Steven
