I left them out because I'm still not convinced they are rank connected. Gen Veers wore one in his dress uniform, but none in his battle armor. The Snowtrooper Lt wore none on his armor as well.
The only occurrence we can speculate cylinder association with rank is when Piett assumes Ozzel's same amount of cylinders upon promotion. This may simply be because he needed access to the same info Ozzel had, after taking his position.

No, it's alright, have a look at the new Rank Bar Chart, they used the same ranks as for R1:

I voted “like some parts didn’t like some parts”. I mean I still liked the movie but it’s certainly not one of the best in my opinion.

I got pretty annoyed that they made Hux comic relief pretty much in every scene he was in. It would ha e been okay once or twice but when you do it too much it takes away from the threatening factor that one of the main villain characters should have. He’s the main officer character in these films and it’s just bad that they made him comic relief to that extent, especially as someone who’s a fan of the officer characters.

Too much comedy, to the extent that the villains are entirely non-threatening. I haven't been able to shake my own 'Pinky and the Brain' comparisons since.

The story around Rey/Ren is progressing well I think, I have no problem with it and enjoy it greatly to the extent that it is the biggest buy-in of the series so far for me. Thought Luke's character was spot-on, actually.

Stefan's point about the fighters is one aspect that really left me scratching my head. Fine if you're going for the hubris of the First Order (vocalised by a new favourite, Captain Canady early on), otherwise sloppy.

'The Superman' was a moment of major emotive dissonance. Not a fan!

My biggest criticism is that too much fails to have a purpose. The well-trodden segment is (the more I think of it) entirely irrelevant to the plot. A couple of other things could have been removed with no, or extremely little, ripple effect overall.

One description of a piece of technology towards the end made me cringe, can't quite believe it was intentionally typed on a page.

Yes, it's beautifully realised. Very impressive scenes and choreography. Acting is fine. Some intriguing ideas. But too much filler, too many headscratchers, and too much ill-placed comedy.

Where do I place it? Well I've gone back and forth. It hovers about the middle of the franchise so far for me.

    !!!SPOILERS!!!
I'm also with the "Like some parts didnt like other parts" fraction. Even with the chase they could have made a movie without so many logic errors. I mean over seven movies we travelled all around the galaxy, from one planet, one system to another, NEVER having any thoughts like "hm, what does my fuel gage say?" even when the Rebellion was really under pressure they never had any problems regarding the fuel. Don't understand me wrong, it makes total sense that the Resistance is short on this, but bringing it up now reeks like plot convenience. Only to remind people "yes, also the spaceships in Star Wars need fuel".
Regarding the chase once more, Hux let the TIE-Fighters and Kylo return because the Star Destroyers were not able to give cover during their attack. How many TIE-Fighters did they have on all these First Order ships, including Snokes Supremacy? Half a million? A million? I don't know, but if I would have been in command I would have send all of them after the resistance ships, because cover or not, they would not have had any chance to survive. We saw what Kylo did to that hangar, one single fighter!
And sadly some of the main characters would have had nothing to do during the chase, so of course we need to send them on a complete nonsense mission to find a hacker who could disable the tracking system, for eight minutes. And this only because some certain Vice Admiral is not able to tell the Crew "Look, we are heading for a secret rebell base from the days of old. Stay calm and prepare your departure, make sure not to leave any personal items behind. When we reach the base we will simply let the First Order pass by and then call for help. So there is no need for any solo action." *looking into Poes direction*

Now some positive things, I really liked Luke, of course it would have been great seeing him saying to Rey "Let's go, let's fight the First Order." but I think the way he did act made the "fight" at the end so much more impressing. This confrontation was one of the best of all Star Wars 1:1 fights in my eyes. It's sad he died, because now no one of the old trilogy is left for Ep. IX. I also liked the appearance of Yoda, was a cool moment. The opening sequence was awesome, but the obvius jokes should have ended with Poe making fun of Hux. The most honest statement was, by Captain Canady or Hux - not sure anymore, "What is the sense of all this, if we can't stop three ships.", so true.

There are still many things I did not talk about but I think this post is long enough for now, it seems I had to talk this off my soul. Happy reading and feel free to agree or to argue

It was alright. I still enjoyed it to an extent but some parts just felt like they weren’t the best idea. I also didn’t like how a certain character was basically made comic relief in every scene. I have only seen it once but I find it hard to imagine that my opinion will change much on another viewing.

My favourites are still the original trilogy and Rogue One.

This is my current feeling as well. I hope seeing it a few more times will give me a higher opinion of it. Having said that, usually if a movie (any movie) doesn't strike you the first time, and you hope watching it again will change that opinion, it basically means that you didn't like it and are trying to talk yourself into liking it.

As with Stefan and everyone else, I can also add, I would add inseam and outseam to the list of additional measurements. And stick to just cm

After three days of technical issues I can finally give you an answer.
I first measured every shoulder from neck to shoulder end and then the total shoulder width from one end to the other and gave them both measurements.

    Hope this helps!

GreenStars reacted to Trapper in Black staff officer uniform.
I measured across both shoulders. I also gave them shoulder to waist.  Waist to knee . Not sure if they used those last two measurements ,but figured it couldn't giving it to them.

I also gave them my shoulder width, but the other measurements look all good! And you can also give them the waist-crotch measurements, the more the better.
Measurements in centimetres should be enough, they are confused witch inches.
I keep my fingers crossed that everything turns out as you need it!

I went with the CS Staff Officer as well. I would recommend the costume sizing as well as having leave "full seams" on it that way you have a little room to alter your costume still.

One thing I'll add, that I forgot to mention earlier, is that the Cosplaysky hat and belt are not approved, so don't buy them.

What the others said. CS can be approved to L3 and looks good. They don't always get it right even with all the measurements you give but they are easy to work with. I took mine to a seamstress and had a couple small issues fixed without much cost.

Cosplaysky is probably your best bet for a very affordable uniform that is cleared up to L3. Id highly recommend getting custom fitting. You just have to give them all your measurements they ask for, plus additional ones like Neck, inseam, outseam and shoulder width.

http://www.clothearscostumes.com/ is well worth the money and the wait. I just received my ANH Staff Officer uniform, based on the original tunics which are slightly different than the Line Officer uniforms. It is incredibly well made, tailored to exacting detail.

It took nearly a year for me to get mine, and when it was all said and done, it was a little over $1000.00 USD. But if you want perfection, well, you can't beat it. I started with a Cosplaysky uniform and then upgraded to this after I was dissatisfied with some things. Although I know they've made notable changes to their uniforms since I ordered mine.
