I never would have thought those glasses would work, but of course they do, because they match the style of that time so well! And the sideburns really do help. If I saw you in the background of ANH you'd blend right in, glasses and all.

As some one who can't wear contacts or get surgery, I rock my mid-century specs all the time. The cool thing about the thick framed brow or horn-rimmed frames is that not only do that have a Space-Age/early NASA and JPL feel, but these kind of frames were still common in the 1970s.

Loved the movie when I saw it on Monday at Disney Studios and loved it even more when I saw it last night.

I agree with Simon and Colin above. The pictures used on that Amazon listing is definitely taken from CosplaySky. I wouldnt risk it if I were you. I would just directly go to the CosplaySky website and order through them. That way, you know exactly what you're getting. And honestly, CosplaySky is pretty cheap already.

Interesting - I have the same Belt Boxes but mine have never popped off of my belt. A strap or loop does sound like a good way to make sure though that those suckers stay on for sure.

There's nothing worse than an angst-riddled growth.
