Finally decided to start on my Thrawn. (poor Maul keeps getting on the back burner) I love the character in the Zahn novels, and in rebels.
 
I want to look into the uniform first.  What are peoples opinions on cosplay sky?  I could sew one myself, but at 160 ish id rather buy it.  How is there tailoring? Are there other vendors that are good?
 
I have a background in haunts and theater, so I've got the makeup ready. 
 
I also came up with something fun for the eyes.
 
The glow isn't photo shopped.  I still need to play with the focus to get rid of one of those light points, but it was a test run.  I originally had a full face prosthetic I made for an Alucard WIP, but I got it down in size so I can do Thrawn with it.
 
Any recommendations on a wig?  I've done a decent short wig for my Anakin, but Thrawns hair seems much tighter to the head.  I also though about temp dying my hair and hiding the pony tail down my collar, but I'm worried it won't look right.  Also, temp hair dye near a white uniform...

Hey all, back from a hiatus. Had to make other people's stuff for a while instead of mine. Lol
 
So ice got my pattern for my GA tunic. Should I do 2 layers of the suiting materiel and one of lining? Or is one layer of suiting good?
 
Sewing up my muslin tonight, hopefully I'll have pics. I want to submit by next Wed.  Lol

So I was all set to make some code cylinders today at work, but the 5/8 (~16mm) rod I have feels like it might be a touch small. Anyone know the diameter of the dosimeters off hand?
 
I think I may hold off and make em hollow anyway. Might be fun to put a sub stick or something else in there. I already did that with a honey dipper style cylinder, this should be easier. Maybe a flashlight, screwdrivers...place for .ca glue...hmmm

Alpha test with the makeup.  Fibers hid well...need way more work blending this new stuff.  Holds up nicely, though.
