[Approved Jack Boot Options?]

I've been on the hunt for a pair of jack boots that will work for the various Imperial Crew costumes. I've seen some threads recommending Hessan Antique but it seems they've been sold out of their jack boots for months. 

I've come across these options on Soviet Boots that seem like they would be okay, but just want some input before buying. I'm not looking for level 3 certification so these don't have the strap on the top. If it matters, I'm looking to join the Old Line Garrison in Maryland.

[The classic big-calf boot problem - Confirming my research]

Anyone with a wide calf have problems getting standard Jack boots to fit? If so, does anyone have any sources for a wide calf fit? Most of the links I've seen on here for various sites selling Jack boots have them at about mid-calf shaft height. The Jack boots from Soldier of Fortune in the link in an above post seem like they'd be too tall for Crew or Navy approval.
