  1. Im trying to get a pic of it worn to show how far the inner goes across
    That would be amazing!!!

I've had the fabric for over a year but lacked the motivation. It was our big Comiccon in Montreal last week and I was just so jaleous of people with multiple costumes, it gave me the kick in the butt I needed to get on track! I grabbed rank bars from a local vendor, I've got my cap and belt buckle, found some boots... Time to get serious :)

  2. Thanks for the picture!!! The Clothears is a thing of beauty and my inspiration in this project. I've had their pictures on my phone for over a year, it's my wallpaper actually!

I can't quite make out the shape of it from the picture though, would you mind folding the right side in place and taking another photos?

I kinda see what you mean though, it's somewhat in between...

  3. Hello fellow troopers!

I'm looking at having the ANH Staff Officer done by a seamstress. I plan on modifying a set of pattern for the regular style officer. One thing that's bothering me though, is about the "double breast". I was wondering if I might be able to get some clarifications here, as the CRL is vague on that matter and reference is almost non-existent.

So my question is this, what should the right side (under the yoke) double breast look like? I know that in a regular officer, it extends all the way to the left side of the front yoke, is that correct? However, looking at Executor pics, as well as Farenheight 451 footage, it seems the left side is much shorter in that version.

So, I'm looking at 3 options (see pictures to help you visualize what I mean) :

1- Extends all the way to the other side of the front yoke

2- Stops at the collar, all the way down, following the contour of the front yoke's right side

3- Stops at the collar, all the way down, sloping to meet the front yoke's left side

So, what do you guys think?

    Thanks in advance!a585e05d90320817c8c0d5aa5513a5c9.jpgc8368aabb6fc16ea08861bbe62c52cb7.jpg00380f64df33532156d287d84e15a20f.jpg
