[A couple of quick uniform questions]

Hello! Still working on getting my uniform made by someone who's far better at sewing than I am, and we had a couple of questions:

 

1) Do the trousers have a fly? I can't seem to find any reference pictures to confirm either way.

 

2) We are having trouble getting the code cylinder pockets on the tunic to lay flat instead of puckering outward. Any tips on how to fix this?

[Boot zippers - What's acceptable?]

Hello, I've noticed that in the CRL for the olive drab Line Officer, it mentions that a zipper on the boots should not be visible from the front, side, or back, but gives no further specifications on the zipper.

 

Does anyone have an example of what an approvable boot zipper would look like? I can't seem to find a photo. Does there need to be a flap to hide it, or anything like that?

 

I have rather large calves, and I'm wondering if adding a zipper might make the boots a little more forgiving in that area. Thanks in advance!
