Man I love all the new accessories the ISB are getting lol. All for it! LolGood morning IOC! With the new Andor trailer, we got a quick glimpse of what appears to be some kind of raiding team, with an armored ISB officer. Please excuse the low-quality picture, it's about all we have at the moment. I plan to build this suit, I mean, I've got the base costume already!

Unfortunately so. But still congratulations are in order! I can't wait to build this costume too! That's a good news! Let's wait then, nothing we can do for now.

MazCave is good work. Maybe the best but also comes with the price. KeepTrooping and WampaWear also make the ISB tunics.Hi Everyone! I am in the market for an ISD Uniform (Admiral rank). I am struggling to find an appropriate vendor who has consistently positive reviews.
I have looked into Magnoli Clothiers and Denuo Novo. However, these have mixed reviews. I am currently looking at MAZCAVE. May I ask for your advice please?

Hi there! Sorry for the delay in responding... I've been offline for a bit, dealing with some family issues. I'm embarrassed to say I'm not sure what I was referring to, either. The model looks great, though! Are you keeping it private or releasing it for others, somewhere?

And actually, as I take another look: Your collar rank insignia photo is great, BUT it seems to show the collar pre-weathering. Since we're requiring the weathering, can you get us a shot of the collar rank insignia on the weathered collar?
Shouldn't the chest weathering be required for basic then too? I thought that was more obvious than the weathering on the collar at first glance. Otherwise, maybe the weathering could be bumped up to executor requirements.

Hello advisor, I’ve made the decision to try and get a cosplay going for my first 501st submission and decided on the imperial bridge crew. I found the linked jumpsuit on Etsy since I have no sewing skills and just wanted to get everyone’s opinion or comments if they think it would work. Looking at it and the crl I think it will but just want to be sure. any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.
Found you! Lol

Take a closer look. It seems like the left hand side of the handle is purely Healthyway Plainsman, even the safety is identical(except for the marking color). An additional slide has added on top of the original slide. The barrel is completly different, but I can't see the detail with this resolution.
Thank you Hot Toys! Lol

Yea, but the sewing is quite unique. There're double sewing lines along the outer sides of the pants, and additional 3 horizonal lines at the plantaris. That's quite rare at the other character's(or perhaps they usually wear black Jodhpur Trousers, which make them hard to see).
Oh I see what you mean.
@darth_ogem's pictures make it clearer too.
Definitely looks like a new pattern for trousers.

I'm getting to the pants section soon. I don't know how to describe that either. Maybe someone who's farmiliar with tailoring terms could help?
Honestly it just looks like the trousers are twisted inward. My trousers do that sometimes and I gotta try to twist them back.

I only suggested it because I don't think it's been as apparent as seen on this costume. It doesn't matter to me either way, but I'm just thinking of future scenarios GMLs might have to deal with when reading the CRL.
We've never governed the height of code cylinders in a CRL. No need to start now.

God I thought I was the only one who notice. I agree with you. It looks like his code cylinder is a simple cylinder without any groove, so that the brass clip is free-floated and not in a consistant position.
Here's the comparison with RO/Andor.
But I won't put it into the draft CRL since there's no solid evidence, just speculation. And I wish that our CRL promote re-usability across similar characters instead of specification to one single character. After all, no two leaves are exactly the same in the world.
For the sake of future proofing the CRL as much as possible. There may be one costumer who will try to go for the staggered height code cylinders and a GML that may not approve it. I'd say just to add one line that say something in the order of "code cylinders of varying height may be allowed"

Yeah, I have no idea what to do about the pistol. I bought a Plainsman to use as a base and to form the holster around. But we don't know what it's called or what the rest of it looks like. Maybe we should just go with what we can see and then update the CRL at a later time if/when we see the rest of it.

I'm doing legends thrawn
For that version, WampaWear offers a great tunic and trousers set. It's a bit pricey but very high-quality at a relatively affordable price. Something to consider.

I am making a costume of thrawn and I had an idea too find a Chef's jacket and use that but I saw that there quite expensive.
So does anyone have any ideas what I can use as the tunic?
A chef's jacket wouldn't be right for 501st approval. Not without extensive modification.
Which version of Thrawn were you looking to make as there are a few we've seen now.

@ChrisLie was asking about this poncho:

We STILL don't have the Andor style ponchos in the CRLs yet. Is this the one?
This one looks pretty close!

Interesting. Is that for waterproofing or to give the appearance of waterproofing on screen? My source at Pinewood came back to me. They are a cotton with a wax applied.
