It's really your preference. I personally like the black uniform, and there were Staff Lieutenants in ANH.

Thanks so far everyone. Yeah, I thought the collar was big as well. I sent Cosplaysky an email letting them know, so I'll see what they say. Hopefully if they can't accommodate me I can find a good tailor to fix that and the sleeve length. It's difficult because I'm very petite so even when I give my measurements, it's never done right. 

 

As for the pant stirrups, would clip on ones work as well? I've gotta start teaching myself how to sew haha.

Hello all!

 

I just received my black Staff Officer uniform from Cosplaysky, however I'm definitely thinking it needs adjustments made. I also forgot that I needed to buy the boot straps so that the pants aren't so baggy by my knees. I've included links to photos here. Any tips or suggestions as to what I will need to change would be wonderful.

 

Also, the boots are very snug on my calves, but I am working on finding a home remedy for stretching them since I had already taken them to a shoe repair. I think if I wear them around for a bit every day or so they should start to break in. Also, do a lot of officers pad and cushion their boots because I can see myself feeling very uncomfortable in these if standing for a long time.

 

As for the other parts to the uniform, I'm waiting on the pieces for my rank bar, my hat, and the code cylinders.
