Thanks for the info guys, I think I'll go ahead with making the droid and if it's a problem I can easily wear my handler outfit, I'm just happy I get to tinker with something like this again.

What's the stance on doubling up as an Officer? I'm an IT guy by trade so I'm always working on little tech projects, so the idea of putting together a mouse droid sounds like fun, especially with custom soundboards and the like. Can I double up while in costume? IE be in control of a droid while also in my Staff Officer uniform?
Thanks!

Ohio garrison is at this website.
Their unit section (scroll down)

Lists both of their GML's. Email either of them about the boots.

If only they could make boots that fit my massive feet.

Is it an RA number Sokar? I would suggest just putting the entire RA into google and it will auto select tracking services... usually. Not sure about where you are at.

Good to know on both accounts, thanks.
Looks like I'm going to have to go to my local USPS branch after work whenever the boots arrive...It's next day pickup but yeah, just bring the slip they leave in your mailbox.

All that it says it was accepted in Ukraine.
I don't doubt it's on the way. I'm just impatient as hell and want to see what the average times it took most people to get their boots.
I'm also waiting on code cylinders coming from Italy, and those have yet to ship....If by that you mean Philo, it takes him a couple weeks to make them, no worries. Keep in mind Soviet is registered mail, unless you sign for it you have to pick it up from your local USPS.

Takes about 2 weeks. It's supposed to be flying from Ukraine so I'd check with them to see if they've heard anything. Could also be customs decided not to post about it. Does it say origin post is preparing shipment?

Rather tempting to order a Wampa as a backup and a test model considering how long Tigg will take.

Sorry for the doublepost but does this appear clearable? They have it in my size and will not be adding the buckle.

I have size 14 (US) EEEE feet thanks to bunions and a few surgeries and EVERY custom boot maker I've reached out to said they could do longer no problem, but not wider. They all claim to use the same basic blank for the sole. In the end, I got super lucky with a pair of Soviet officer's boots size 48 (EU) and with a little stretching, they fit like a glove. Happy hunting!
Thanks! Been waiting to hear back from Sovietboots myself.

Sadly no equestrian shops that sells English riding in my area. No cobbler that I can find that isn't strictly shoe repair either. I think at this point I'm gonna have to try to get lucky on eBay.

Right, so I'm getting together a costume and I've run into a bit of a pickle, I run size 9 shoes, but 4e in width, unfortunately the bone's grew sorta wrong causing me to have basically no arches and wide feet.
Checked out Hessen and they do not do custom widths at all, Todd might work but it would be a tight squeeze, and sovietboots does not list width that I could find. Anyone have any advice on this front? It's the only part so far that I've hit a wall on.

Hello, I'm requesting an advisor to assist with a first time build, I am putting together a black staff officer uniform. I'm based in the Atlanta area.
Wide feet for boots.

Yes I sent them a message. They can make it custom without the buckle. I had to take it to a cobbler to get a stretch though.
