That is very helpful, I do have a clear tapor for my nose I can put in,  and I can find some studs for my ears to wear on troops.

    I have multiple facial piercings.

For Director Isard, I take them out and put them back in afterwards but I know my piercings and know they won't close up in that time.

For my staff officer, jedi etc, I swap my regular jewelry for the small, plain, flat disc studs.

    Hope that helps a little

Sith belt and buckle and cap badge based on research by myself and Gian at Philoprops.
The actual belt is wider this is an example of the way its ribbed.

    Good morning,

The LMO team, consulting with the IOC staff has decided that the best way to have this character portrayed is with a normal ISB officer, the new ranks will be added to the already existing CRL. The wig and lenses (as the CRL do not cover face appearances) are permitted matching Ysanne Isard.

    Thank you

    I love your work!

For a back reference, the bottom left panel from the comic seems to show no princess seam.  We can't tell if there is a center seam, but there would almost have to be SOME seam.
The trousers could be black, grey, or even Fieldgrau if we were to interpret the colorist's choice.  But sticking with what's in the comic, I'd think grey.

Ultimately, the LMO team will need to chime in to decide if there is enough to green light it though.

    @LordMalexit wanna weigh in?

I'm happy to see you presenting the case though!  Thank you for that.

Good morning to all of you!

Yes I surely will discuss this with the LMO team and IOC Staff!

The costume is very interesting and I thinks it is worth the discussion. Your job is awesome!

I'm gonna regret this... but I want one.

    Tunic:
    - I cannot see from the picture how it fastens. Definitely does not look like an overlap like the OT ones so not sure yet. Hooks maybe?

    - neck seal looks a lot like a tk one

    - yoke piece looks like a separate piece - much like Qi'ra's red Cape.

    - be still my beating heart - the female one has seams on the front of the tunic! Yay!

    Trousers:
    - evil point things

Has anyone got any reference for the boots yet?

SW is such as vast universe with so many off-shoots that there has to be a compromise somewhere. We do what we do to raise money and bring smiles. The general public is less likely to be that hot on all the nuances of the comics vs the film etc. - it's more about setting the scene.

Whether we like it or not:
    - Isard technically is not even canon now in the Disneyverse.
    - Krennic is canon.
    - Krennic is also an isb director. His rank bar is red on top.
    - there needs to be continuity to set the scene

It may not be to everyone's taste (such is the nature of compromise) but I can understand the reason for it.

    Apologies Kris for the detouring.

Yes, I agree much of these 8 pages aren't overly constructive to the subject, & I don't think there's really much more to discuss here.
I'd prefer to not have to lock this thread so lets all be patient & please keep the tone light, and positive.  Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback guys - it's reasurring to know I'm not alone.

Question is, how on earth do I even begin trying to put this to the Powers That Be to suggest the idea of a twi'lek officer? I am completely clueless on how to proceed.

As one of the few alien Saber Guild members, always more aliens!!

The comics have helped a lot, I think
I'll wear Horrible Clashing Line Officer Thrawn and people get a kick out of it. And I can be ridiculously offended at the color combo. It's a good time

At my first meetup with Garrison Titan, I was strongly encouraged to pursue a non-human Officer build - it was implied that there's a bit of a rivalry between a few garrisons for who has the most aliens. I think a lot of that focus is probably on the Saber Guild side, where it makes more sense, but I felt encouraged all the same!

Though my partner keeps saying, "You know you really just want to be Thrawn," and they're not wrong...

    Hey y'all *waves*

I am genuinely interested in this one but will confess it's because I want to do one.

I've been wondering about this one for a while. A lot of the OT officers and crew were all human. That being said, a lot of them were male which would lead me to think it was more of a decade thing and a money saving thing (prosthetics were pricey) - rather than a reflection of the SW universe. The Empire was a vast enterprise with recruited from all corners of the galaxy - surely they weren't all human? Thrawn is my poster boy example for this one.

Twi'leks, in my opinion, are one of the most versatile races in the SW universe/EU. They crop up all over the galaxy. I appreciate that slavery has a lot to do with that. In verse they're considered very desirable and as such are often kidnapped and sold. That aside, there have been jedi, sith, rebel fighters and rebel pilots in verse. The mando mercs even have cleared twi'lek bounty hunters.

I know I've gone on about twi'lek the most here but I am a total noodlehead fan and would absolutely love to be able to put a twi'lek officer in for clearance one day.

So what do you guys think? Twi'lek, zabrak, togruta? Does it seem logical/reasonable for them to be bad guys too? Am I way off the mark here? Do they already exist and I've missed it?

I'd really like to hear what others think on this one.

There is precedent even as recent as the new Battlefront 2 game where we saw an aqualish with the rank of Lieutenant.  The empire has used alien officers other than thrawn down through the years in comics, books and other sources.  We just never saw it on the big screen.

Agree with the broad opinion that it would be fun to see/do and a nice variation. Also might help people like me that prefer to hide their mugs rather than risk having to look at their own gob in photos!

Non-canon certainly, unless an example appears to make it canon - and cleared with GML etc

I think TOR showed the way alien officers and non-Sith-Species-Sith would be treated, but that they were not outside the realm of possibility. Fair enough, they were not Imperials. Still, alien baddies in snazzy uniforms.

Canon wise, there were non humans whom served. They would be a low rank, they would be discriminated against, but there were some. You would have to be a humanoid so pantoran, chose, twi'lek, rodian.

I don't see why not though. Could be fun to do.

It would definitely be fun to have more Alien Officers, although the Empire had a strict anti non-human policy and Thrawn is only the exception. But it's always possible at non Canon events. And now with the Thrawn Comic I think we can definitely do Thrawn as a Line Officer

I have  an awesome pair of Lekku... but I feel like based on the history of Ryloth I'd have a hard time pulling off a Twi'lek Imperial Honestly I've always assumed that the non-diverse representation in the Empire was purposeful, that there was discrimination against non-humans. Thrawn has a back story that explains how he overcame those prejudices. But all that being said, could make for some fun informal costumes.
