It's totally appropriate for you to wear a loner legion shirt.

It's also totally appropriate for you to be gifted a shirt from a member to have until you're approved yourself.

But you can never go wrong wearing a Star Wars shirt :)

I didn't have much Star Wars gear at all my first few crewing troops - just grabbed a baseball cap with the Cog on it from Eason one day and wore that!

A lot of our crew who are not yet members of 501st or RL don't wear anything Star Wars-y.

You guys remind me that we do this sort of thing here too. Some of the crew we have, which sometimes are people who aren't members of neither RL or the 501st but are with us (parents, for example, like in my case - my father enjoys going to conventions with me, taking photos of us, kind of 'serving' as our photographer), wear S.W. shirts - people tend to 'recognize' those who are with the costumed ones as part of their 'crew'.

Actually yes, these are the two differences between Krennic and Staff Officer.

    Good luck for your build!

    Very well seen!

Matheus show your seamstress the CRL for the Staff Officer, just to be 100% sure the uniform is made correct. The seams that are different to Krennics are not so difficult to add for a seamstress with some experience.

    Hello there, people!

I am confident that the extra detail (princess seams and the dart) are not going to be a problem since she's experiencing with doing even Kylo Ren work (which is on my opinion way more complicated). I was going for something at maximum Level 2 - or else the amount of money spent on the costume would reach pretty high levels (anything imported to here is overly expensive, as well as the work of a tailor who understands cosplaying requirements). I just asked because then I will be able to give her the proper instructions (it's a little complicated to translate technical language, and it's easier to say 'hey, remember the Krennic outfit you did? you just need to change this and that, and it's pretty much the same) so I can get a nice outfit approved without any problems.

  3. Greetings, fellow officers.

I am in the process of building my first officer outfit - on my case, a staff officer, black uniform. I am getting it done with a tailor that has done several other jobs for our garrison. She has done two Krennic outfits before. I've analyzed both CRLs (black officer and Krennic). My question is: Can I just tell her it's the same outfit, but in black? As far as I could analyze, the difference is the length of the standing collar (1.25'' for the officer, and 2'' for Krennic) and the requirement of a modesty panel (besides the cape attachments and the jodhpur trousers).

I have the option to get loaned up from a fellow Legion member the same outfit so I can get mine done with a example.

    Thanks in advance!
