I want to know, how did the english voice of Yoda sound ? I'm asking because the german voice was so awful and improper that it pulled me right out of the movie.

It didn't sound in no way like the voice in all the other Star Wars movies with Yoda

Back to my question again, did the english voice of Yoda sound similar to the one in the original trilogy?

This is one thing that I think that everyone can agree was done right:

In the English language version, the voice of Yoda was provided by the original and best actor for the part, Frank Oz.

 

And now I feel like checking what other languages are available on my Star Wars dvds ...

So my prediction of what we're going to see: young orphan Han on the streets, grows up and joins the Empire, defects and saves Chewie, wins the Falcon from Lando, does the Kessel run.

That might be a bit much for two-and-a-half hours (or whatever it's going to be).  How about - right after Imperial service, already met Chewie (the circumstances of which cause his discharge, if I remember right), meets Lando, and smuggling shenanigans, with hints at past.

As for "Other Media Staff Officer," the current method of putting the "Rebels" officers into their own section, separate from representations in comics, graphic novels, games, etc seems best, as the show uniforms are presented with consistent designs.

[[Spoiler Free] Opinions on The Last Jedi?]

To start, it did meet all the necessary critieria for a Prequel/Original/Sequel Trilogy movie:

• messed-up Skywalker family dynamics
• at least one space battle
• at least one ship chase scene (in atmosphere or space)
• at least one lightsaber fight
• someone has to say "I've got a bad feeling about this."
• music by John Williams

Having met the basic critieria; there were also the plot twists, the little nods to ANH, ESB, and ROTJ, the Kylo-Hux interactions (which I, for one, enjoyed), and the spoilers which can't be mentioned here.

In my opinion, it's worth at least two viewings in a theater - once to try and catch all of the little details (effects, musical cues, costume details, etc.) and once to just sit back and enjoy the movie.
