I mentioned earlier, you are good to go on those. What specifically do you need clarification on?

Cedric I think it looks great and, quite frankly, you know this costume best- better than I do. Choose whatever you think will work best.

My thought is that @Tarkin99933 should use whatever he thinks will work out best. 

I will take good look at all of this, and give it the attention it deserves once I return the week after next. 

I think it could be helpful if you guys could tell me if my proposalsfor this costume from my first post in this thread from march 1st. would be okay or require some changes.
I've already listed my ideas for this CRL, because there are some deviations compared to the republic officer from season 1-6.
I also need to know wich fabric (please look at the photos above) I should use.

@Tarkin99933 we just got word that this PASSED! We can proceed with making the CRL and getting the costume together.

I would like to take on the republic naval officer from clone wars season 7.
I know that there is another proposal with a similar character/costume but there are some differences I would like to point out.
 
The other naval officer has a blue/lightgrey fabric (from my point of view) - my naval officer has a stone/mid grey fabric.
The other naval officer wears not always a hat - mine does.
The other naval officer has no patches attached on the upper sleeves - mine does.
There maybe more differnces
 
I'd prefer to talk about some issues concerning the pattern, fabric etc. before I start to buy the materials and send them to my tailor with the instructions, if that works for you as well.
 
There are some things wich I noticed that are important and need your opinion/verdict.
 
- The fabric should be a stone/mid grey gabardine/cavarly twill fabric. Hat, tunic and trousers should be made of the same fabric.
There is a code disc attached on the hat made of three different sized discs.
- They are wearing a classic imperial OT style hat but with a sort of a strap attached upon the visor but made of the same fabric.
- The collar closure should be left over right just like the collar closure of my other republic officer from clone wars.
- The rank is made in the same style as the one from my other republic officer (clone wars) but with a single bar and three red or blue tiles or one blue and two red tiles.
- They are wearing rectangular shoulder boards (just like the republic officer - clone wars).
- There is a black piping made of black satin sewn on the tunic (just like the republic officer - clone wars).
- They are wearing patches of the grand army of the republic on every upper sleeve.
- Here comes the tricky part. I think the middle part of the front and the back of the tunic are seperated and slightly lifted in a similar way as they did with the special black ANH tunic. If so it would easier to make, not just for me but also for other members.
The lower right part of the piping sits right on the edge of the lifted middle part, where the upper left part of the piping sits a few inches/cm to the right of the edge from the lifted middle part.
- For me it looks like the lifted part runs all over the tunic from the shoulders to the bottom just like it does with the ANH tunic.
- The closure should be on the left side of the tunic.
- The back of the tunic has one seam that runs in the center of the tunic from the neck to the bottom.
- There is a vent that runs from belt height to the bottom on the back of the tunic.
- Sleeves should contain 2 seams, one in front and one in back for a better practicability.
- There are two rank-bands of black satin ribbon on both sleeves.
- The belt is constructed from a non-textured leather or a leather-like material and is approximately 2" (51 mm) wide.
There are no loops on the belt. The buckle has rounded corners and constructed from a horizontally brushed metal, or metal looking material.
- The Code disk is a stepped cone shape appearing to be 3 discs stacked on top of one another. • The larger disc is 1.4 inch (3.5 cm), the second disc is 1 inch (2.5 cm). And the thrid disc is a half inch (1.25 cm).
- The trousers are tucked into the boots but don't have flares at the hip area. They are straight and show a confortable/slim fit.
- The boots are knee high black riding boots with clone wars style cuffs on the shafts made of black leather.
- They wear black leather gloves.
 
I hope I didn't forget anything. What do you think?

Awesome costume, Cedric!

The tunic reminds me of some depictions of Issard. I want to say in her white tunic?
A cool nod to that if it was the intent.
Also kinda cool to show that the uniforms are still in flux from the Republic to the Empire, much like how it would go in the real world.
