Hello fellow officers, since I turn 18 on Wednesday (22nd) it is time to graduate from the GA into the 501st. I have always dreamed about being in the 501st and this is the thing about my 18th I am looking forward to the most.

Bailey,
Unfortunately there is a bit of a language barrier when it comes to CPS. They should being doing a seam around the waist anyways. Also, even if they took 2cm out of the flaps, they still will need work. They will probably still need reshaping and stiffening. You would be better off just taking it to be reshaped, or maybe you know how to sew. Noone gets finished flaps straight from CPS, regardless of the instructions givin. Good luck with your build! Let us know if you have any other questions.
Matt
So would I tell hem to disregard those points?

Hi everyone. I have just ordered a green tunic from CPS and I followed previous recommendations with the additional requirements and I got this reply back. What do i send back to them and images do I provide them with? I know what to do with the additional fabric just the waist seam and the flares. Thanks

Looks really good Ben, can't wait for a CRL for his uniform.

I knew they reminded me of something like that. Makes sense, rebels make me sick

Do we have a time frame of when this CRL goes live because the officer uniform that I will get approved later on this year is a Rogue One style and I don't want to get the notch in the code disk if there is going to be a new CRL
-
Does anybody know how big the notch in the code disk on the hat is supposed to be. I am planning to get mine cut so it gets higher levels of approval

As stated before, just contact ypur local GMO and i wish you good luck with your approval I had the honor to do some of these approvals as GMO in Germany. It's fun to present new members their Legion ID on their birthday. Nice to see that this appears to be a legionwide tradition.
Thank you. Just to make sure it will Beben approved, I will be posting my progress both here and on my garrison’s forums and getting in regular contact with the GML when I am almost 18 just to be sure

Good luck and let us know how your clearance goes and your first troop
Will do but I have to wait until August
-
Yeah I will contact them when I get close to 18. I have seen people getting approved on their 18th so I was curious

I was wondering for what I have to do when I submit my application for the 501st. I was hoping to get approved on my 18th birthday but the application form has you tick that you are 18. When I apply, do I tick it or email my GML that I turn 18 in August and get approved then?

Those should be fine. They're pretty much like Soviet Boots. They should be cleared up to L2
wouldn't they get level 3 as they are riding boots made out of leather?
-
these are the pair that I am currently looking at, the initial price is fantastic but the shipping brings it up to $100 so it's a good price, but I'm not sure of the quality

Ebay or Etsy, and a lot of waiting for the perfect deal I'd think.
also this shop on Etsy, would there boots be allowed?
-
there is a listing for German officer boots, would they be accepted?

I am currently building a Black Staff Officer Lieutenant uniform based on Shann Childsen (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Shann_Childsen) from ANH and I have everything but a belt and boots. The local garrison sells approved belts but I don't know what boots to get. I am looking for a pair that isn't too expensive (around about $100 AUD).
Time to submit my application
