So my Imperial Bridge Crew is just about finished but I've run into a snag with the buckles on my boots. According to my GML they are too shiny and there should not be a visible logo.
The logo is engraved into the buckle however so a quick buff won't do me much good. Any ideas on how to fix them up?

This is also true. Hmm... What to do? (I think I already know what to do... I just don't want to do it haha)

Hah, yeah I saw the Magnoli ones somewhere else on here and my jaw dropped. Even with the cost of IB or Crow, those boots alone would be worth more than my whole costume!
Thanks for the input on the gloves as well. They are listed in the resource guide so I was hoping they'd be a good one to go with!

Yeah, like I said, I understand that shoes in general are pretty pricey and that these are custom made leather boots but... Dang, haha.
But! I will not rest until I find a pair that work! (And if I don't... Maybe I can talk my family into splitting a birthday gift for me XD)
Edit: while this thread is still active, anyone have thoughts on these gloves?

Plain black gauntlet of course.

Ah true. I somehow missed the lack of a top cuff. Well, the search continues I suppose.

What makes you believe they will not work? Like many others, I've been searching for alternatives to IB since the price of those boots alone would be nearly half the entire cost of the costume for me. And while I understand they are custom made specifically for the 501st, I just can't justify that sort of ratio in overall cost.

Found these bad boys and was wondering what anyone thought. Too short is what my fear is...

Hmm, alright yeah, I'll see what I can find out. I'll have to go with the former route because I don't believe we have a cobbler here where I'm at. Thanks for the tips!
