[Fabric for Staff Uniform?]

Hey Sherry, it's me, Eric!   We met at Lucy's Christmas party (over Cards Against Humanity)!

 

I'll be at ComicPalooza, and in unform, pending my CosplaySky order arrives in time for me to get it altered/pressed.  That's all I'm waiting on.

 

Tanya got me a nice sewing machine for Christmas, replacing my dying one.  Hoping to tackle sewing my own uniform at the end of the summer.

[Fabric for Staff Uniform?]

After examining CosplaySky's uniform construction, and having the skills to possibly sew my own in the future, I've got a couple of questions.

 

What fabric name/stock number/source would I be looking for to get the same as the screen used? 

 

Is there something that looks better in person?

 

Is there a sewing pattern out there somewhere that, with a few modifications, can be used for the officer uniform?

Outstanding!  Would love to see a before/after comparison when they're ready!

I'd start by cleaning and stripping the boots with Fiebing's deglazer first.  Once clean and dry, I'd recolor them with USMC black leather dye.  Then polish/buff to a shine.

 

Put some edge dressing on the sole and heel, and you should be good to go!
