[favorite Imperial officer? canon/legends]

On style points Tarkin 100%. He literally designed the Imperial Officer we all know and love and is a magnificent bastard.

 

But I have to say if I was gonna work with or serve under someone it would be Piett or Thrawn or Sloane.

Hey all! I’m just getting started with a line officer build and looking into what rank I’d like to use before I buy the bars. I’ve always preferred the ANH/R1/ Solo single rank bars since they seem to indicate a highly complex military structure that my bureaucracy and roleing-obsessed brain finds appealing.

 

On the IOC ranks thread I noticed the full imperial ranks breakdown with conjecture bars included. I was really intrigued by the idea of the Navy Ops division (blue and yellow). A vet buddy and I talked and figured that would probably be where Navy Intelligence would land. So far my favorite book in the new canon is Tarkin which deals with a lot of Navy Intelligence Officers like Admiral Screed, so I like the idea of building a  costume that may reflect a Navy Ops division since it’s not seen much if at all.

 

I know some of these aren’t really approval since they’re conjecture - and only two badges of this type are even seen onscreen - and those are on an ISB agent in armor and a stormtrooper commander in black. 

 

Does anybody use the blue/amber configuration on their line officer build and/or do you think it would be approvable?
