At least disney is finally trickling out info on the guests and autograph availability.
Plus 2 panels have been announced.

Today I received my ticket purchase confirmation.
The e:mail says that they will be shipped the first week of May.

The Hilton is back and taking reservations. Fortunately not at $919.00 per night as we saw at the Marriott.
Trivago seems to have the best price plus a few of the other hotels, such as the Portofino (a 5 minute walk to the con)
have lowered their prices.
Not everyone has joined the price reduction bandwagon but I would think they will pretty soon.
I know the Hilton's a bit on they pricey side at $277.00 per day but it's the location that makes it the most
sought after hotel.
I booked the Hilton through Booking.Com because they were offering free cancelation and pay at the hotel.
I'm keeping my reservation through the celebration site and pick the best one as the con gets closer.

My reservation has been made. I had a 14 minute wait in the que line and was able to secure a room at the Courtyard by Marriott.
The Hilton and the Marriott sold out. No surprise.
Now I wait till next year Somewhere around February or March will be the time to start checking the hotels for openings.
As the con gets closer people will need to cancel for a variety of reasons.

We’re thrilled to announce that the official Star Wars Celebration hotel reservation portal will open soon for Star Wars Celebration ticket holders.
Early Access Times:
- Jedi Master VIP ticket holders will have a booking code to access official room blocks on June 1, 2021 at 12:00 pm PT
- All other ticket holders will have a booking code for first access to official room blocks on June 3, 2021 at 12:00 pm PT
- Official room blocks will open to the general public on June 10, 2021 at 12:00 pm PT
Star Wars Celebration works directly with Connections Housing to offer the best room rates available at a wide selection of hotels near the Anaheim Convention Center. Please note: The Connections Housing call center will open starting June 1st and will be open Monday – Friday 6am PST to 3pm PST.
Jedi Master VIP ticket holders should receive an email from Star Wars Celebration on June 1st with more information on how to access the official Star Wars Celebration hotel reservation portal. All other current ticket holders will receive an email on June 3rd.

I'm seeing a lot of people on line complaining about this date change for a variety of reasons.
I do not have have any problem with it at all.
All this means is now I only have to wait for a year instead of 15 months for the next Celebration.

Tomorrow, Thursday, I would have been on a plane heading to Anaheim.
How many of you are as bummed as I that Celebration will only be a "what would have been"?

My school is closed until April 13th. So far. I should know in a couple of weeks if the rest of the school year will be cancelled.
The state of Iowa was fortunate to have 20 or less confirmed cases of the wuhan virus until yesterday. In the past 48 hours our number has increased by 45.
At least I can still get in the car and drive around town. Don't have to shelter at home. Yet.
At this time there are only 4 confirmed cases in my county/city.
My wife is a nurse at a local hospital so I should have more information when she gets home tomorrow morning.
Be safe everyone and follow the guidelines provided by your local, county and state governments.

I happened to be perusing Booking.com last night and discovered that the Hilton and Marriott adjacent to the convention center have rooms available.
Both of these hotels are located 0.1 miles from the convention center. A 2 minute walk.
The Clarion which is 0.2 miles away, a 4 minute walk, has rooms also.
I booked a room at the Hilton for Thursday-Sunday for $800. That includes all taxes and fees.
The Marriott is about $35.00 a night more and the Clarion is considerably cheaper.
Wanted to pass this on in case anyone is looking for a room closer to the convention center.

I booked my room at the Castle Inn.
Website says it's .44 miles from the convention center.
Every website I looked at yesterday has the Hilton being "Sold Out".

The dates have been announced.
August 27th.-30th.
I booked a hotel just on the off chance I am able to go.
It's a looooooog way from Florida to california.
Over 7 hours on a plane.

Chemo is a tough treatment to endure but the outcome will be life giving.
I lost my daughter last September at the young age of 30 so I have an idea of what your going through.

The past week has been great!!!
School is out for the summer and I have 10 weeks of not having to deal with polite, caring, attentive, considerate, courteous, gracious, thoughtful, well mannered and respectful students.

Admittedly, when you search for Commander Praji on Google, a lot of the figures do have 4 blue/2 red rank bars.
He and many other ANH Officers (including the Death Star Gantry Officers) carried a Merr-Sonn Power 5.
The uniformed member shown in the Imperial Staff Officer (black uniform ) CRL is wearing a 4 blue 2 red rank bar.
