Hello everyone I am making the Armand Isard costume and I am asking if anyone can help me?

I have a doubt about the hair, I understand that it has to be pulled back with a gel or a lacquer, but the white/grey stripe that has to be done on the hair, I don't understand if it starts from the front to the back of the head or if it stops before? If I look at some pictures of the comics, it's clear that it goes from the front to the back, but in the CRL, and since I would like to do it properly, so I would like to have your opinion.
