Hey there, just reviving this thread. The science officer from Rogue One is generic (even though it's just Galen wearing it). So why can't this be generic?
 

Right. That was why I wanted to do a generic Holonet News Officer. It all stems from a conversation I had with a friend about how they should have an Imperial Army Press Corp and he said that Rebels has Alton Kastle the Holonet News Officer. I thought that would be cool so I started research and figuring it out with members of my Garrison. This all was put on the back burner last year when I went into final stage kidney disease and had to go on dialysis. I was hoping originally to get a CRL done for it and submit it because as far as I know there is no CRL for either Kastle or a Holonet News Officer. We did determine that the uniform color was a different shade and had basically figured out most of the accessories (patches, that plate that replaces the insignia etc.) I mostly decided to not do it as Alton Kastle because I look terrible with light hair, wig or dyed, and I really hate wearing short haired wigs. Lol 

Gotcha. I was not made aware that there had to be an instance of a generic version. I assumed that if you didn’t want to be a face character then you could just do a generic version of it. My apologies. Makes sense though. Thanks. 

The issue is it is a face character and apologies I thought that was established in your first post, remember unlike bleached blonde hair you can take the wig off 

I think matching Pryce suit style would be a good start, the colors aren't exactly the same as Pryce's 

So would it be fair to say this is the same uniform as Pryce, but with the sleeve patch?

My dad has been asking to come to more stuff when I bring the family out, and he's also a professional photographer. Might be kind of cool having two of these in NEG, even!

Hey all. I posted this in animated costumes and “Rebels” sub forum and was told that I should probably post it here. As I am new to the forums I wasn’t sure. So here I am. 
I am really interested in creating a Holonet News Officer. As I am usually the photographer for the NEG I thought it would be cool to have an “Imperial Press Corps” type officer and I discussed it with some friends and one of them mentioned that
there is a “face character” Alton Castle in Rebels but as I am defintiely not a blonde haired m white guy I was wondering how I would start to create one as there is no CRL for it. I have started researching this and I can show you what I have so far.

I dig the uniform though.  Just different enough to stand out

Right?! I actually love that he has a metal Holonet news logo plaque on his chest instead of a rank bar. 

Thats a pretty cool looking uniform. I don't think I ever really noticed how unique it was. 

I'd recommend starting a thread in the New CRL section, it's a pretty cool uniform.
