    Hi All... I really need some help... am working on this costume and am confused as to what "buckles" to get for the shoulder straps. Here's why I'm confused.

     

    1. on CRL image of full uniform you can see silver metal buckle type loop on the strap

    2. on CRL pic of the actual strap there is a type of snap closure shown that looks different to the one in the full uniform pic- this is not shiny silver

    3. it says for level 3 must be a certain type of army buckle- which I have actually found on line- they are not silver though. 

     

    OPTIONAL Level three certification (if applicable):

    • Buckles and D-rings from Yugoslavian military.

    4. On the actual screen caps from the film it is quite clearly shiny silver buckle type fastenings

     

    So what on earth should I be doing? Following CRL pics (which are different to each other anyway) or following what is screen accurate or go for the level 3 version buckles which I have found?

     

    If someone could please help  me make the right decision I would much appreciate it... I have everything else sorted and this is the last piece of the puzzle and is driving me somewhat crazy... if anyone could share a pic of the end of their approved shoulder strap that would be brilliant! :)
