Ive tried other elastic strips in the past and my pants wrinkled too much. This was when I was trying to get approved. I use my tunic for my social officer costume as well.

my strriups are thick and wide but are pulled too tight because of the length of my pants. I need to replace my pants unfortunately.

That is good. Am seriously considering getting a pair of jods from Wampa Wear but need to wait until I've had my annual exam at the dentist as that will cost me 80-90. Am in limbo with that thanks to stupid covid.

I see an immediate difference between the wampawear pants and the cosplaysky ones. Wampas go to the ankles and cosplay sky do not. And THAT is where my problem stems from.

I put a peice of tape over my eyebrow peircing to hide it when trooping.

I bought my pants and tunic from cosplay sky a couple of years ago. Tunic is great but the pants are not. They required a lot of altering and when I wear them the stirrups are awfully uncomfortable as they have to stretch a lot to ensure the pants dont ride up. And i cant bend my knees properly. What are other options for pants as I dont want to have to replace my tunic as well. Costume is approved.

Im in New Zealand. We are at the beginning of week 3 of a four week lockdown. Number of cases is dropping. Today was just 29 but only time will tell if our measures are working and we can come out of lockdown in 2 weeks time. We also don't know what restrictions we will still have. At present everything I do outside of home has stopped and I don't know when it will start up again. I am glad our measures are working as I am vulnerable due to being asthmatic.

Ive added stirrups to my pants and a dome/snap to the modesty tab.

Got my pants and tunic from CS yesterday. Pants need stirrups and the modesty tab needs a dome/snap to do up as I cant do the hooks and eyes up myself. Collar feels snug but hard to tell if ok. Not sure it can be altered so hope it can be approved as is

I have my eyebrow pierced and I tried on a denim cap mum has which is similar in size to the hat I'll be getting for my officer. I think the brim of my cap will hide my peircing nicely. Thank goodness as i don't like to take it out as its darn fiddly to put the ball back on top after putting the bolt through. I don't even take it out for a hair cut or job interviews. I will remove glasses for troops and my rings if necessary.

Tried the pants on this morning without the stirrups under my feet to see if I could bend knees comfortably and nope. I can't let the pants out as they were taken in to fix the flares which were like elephant ears (a common problem with cosplay sky jods) when I got them. So adjusting the stirrups isn't going to solve the problem. They are too tight around my hips and butt too (uncomfortable to bend down) so unfortunately the only solution is to get new pants. What is weird is the XS tunic fits me perfectly but the pants were too wide when I got them and are now too tight. Cosplay sky pants are awful. I bought a star trek jumpsuit through them and the first one I got was way too big even though I sent custom measurements. I got them to redo it and the top half was great but the bottom was still wider than it should be.
