  1. Thanks for the pictures Laubi. I did see that maybe only one code cylinders is put on the left pocket of those 2 pockets. I did also see on the collar back, that threre is somekind of closure stap, which goes over the zipper. I did see that closure trap also in the rogue one version. There a side view with several Scientist heads from the left side. I don't have a 4K System at home, maybe Laube you can make picture of the rogue one closure stap for detechment staff.

    Hello there!

The Death Star Scientist coveralls are slightly different in Mandalorian Season 2, Chapter 12.

@Kqueen reached out to @Laubi and myself to work on an update for the CRL.

The logo on the back of the coverall is different, and the pants tuck in the boots.

Hopefully there will be more episodes of the DSS for additional reference photos.

Actually I would propose to make a new CRL for the new scientists. I did find other changes like the shape of the grey/black Shoulder parts, the heigth of the blue yoke pattern, there is no zipper on the back... And we do need a new name for  those scientists.

  3. Regarding referenes, in the eBook version of the rise of skywalker you find in the photo section a very high quality image with side view of the hat. In this picture you' ll also see very good the hat and belt greeblies, the arm badge (but no completed text) and the hidden front zipper.

For the belt buckle, rank bar and the hat greeble I am in contact with Philoprops, he is going to make these for me.

  4. Hi, I also like to do a sith eternal officer. As I am currently finishing the Death Star Scientist, I plan to finish this one in late spring/summer.

For me also the vertical red front line looks like a zipper back, the red lines with angle look for me like embroidered. For these I am going to iron flex foil, as it is very cheap (I know the prices of a local embroidery and they will charge around 100 € for these two lines for sure...). The fabric of the Tunic, yoke and trousers I think is 100 % wool. Currently there are no close ups for the weave, so I'll use a twill weave, as it common for the imperial uniforms.

The fabric of the collar and belt is leather I think, so I try with cheaper faux leather.

Anyone does have a clue which word is embroidered on the arm sleeve? I tried to figure it out, but don't have a clue yet. Maybe there is at least one letter missing in the visual dictionay picture.

Has anyone yet figured out a reference for the hat back and side? I'll keep an close eye when watching the movie next time, there is also a cheap Lego battlepack with an officer and hat in it.
