Those files look like the Tie/Bridge Crew compads.
What is the difference. Looking at the files from the CRL it is the same pieces only painted differently.

Thingiverse has them. I'll see if I can find the link.

The soles are very thick in comparison to original German Knobelbecher boots. But that is the only thing that isn't 100% correct with these boots.
This isn't reason enough alone to fail these boots for Executor standard. So I would pass these at this level.
They would not meet the higher Imperator level though.

Thanks Tristan,
I'll take some pictures and submit.

I've been considering applying for L2 maybe even L3.
But I read a response to one of the applicants about the sole of his boots and it has me worried.
Based on suggestion from several folks here, I ordered and have now recieved my Crowprops boots.
Will this pass L2/3?

Thanks, I ordered from Gio. I'm still waiting to hear anything back after I sent my measurements.
Fingers crossed I measured correctly.

Yeah, I have an EVA foam one I made!
I don't have a 3D printer, but I have a friend who does!
I just finished printing this one today, I still have to sand, glue and paint, but I like the way it is looking. I'm hoping to find a good E-11 STL to try it next.

Hey hey! I'm getting the same stuff. The only problem with the embroidered patch is that you'll be limited to only level 1 or 2; the CRL doesn't have any level 2 requirements, but level 3 needs a vinyl patch in white or silver. I went for the full level 3 build in case I ever decide to replace the boots with something more accurate int he future- I know I will.
But yeah the boots are a pain (and expensive!) Anything made of real leather (needed for level 2) you're looking at at least $150, even more if you're going for level 3!
Thanks for for the tip, I wasn't aware of the vinyl vs embroidered patch.

James,
I purchased the first boot above... I ended up ordering through Amazon (Canada) and I'm pleased with them. I'll post the link but they are not available now...
Good luck.
Thanks Aaron. Those look perfect. I wish they were still available.
I'll keep looking...

Thank you Rebecca and Victoria... I appreciate your time.
I was already leaning hard towards the first boot, my only worry was the tread depth, but I've been looking around more since my first post and see that style getting approved for Pilots and others. I don't have reservations on adding the strap/buckle, and I think I can do so at a later date if I choose...
Thanks again
Curiously, where did you find the top boots. Do you have a link for them?

Hello everyone! I'm a new recruit and I'm looking to build an IC: Imperial Bridge Crew. CRL https://is.gd/TBoL3T
Biggest issue I'm running into is sourcing boots. I've got a size 11(US) foot, but my calves are 18+ inches.
Any suggestions? I'm looking at the Wampaware jumper with the embroidered patch, Hat and belt set.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions, and/or nudges in the correct direction.

Congrats. Unfortunately the image link looks to be broken. But none the less, I'm sure it rocks.
