Greetings,
As a new member I will buy my first pair of boots for my Imperial Line officer (olive) costume.
For that I contacted a shoemaker in my country who made that kind of boots by measure and he can also make any modifications necessary to match those used on screen.
What I need do hear from the members are all the details that those boots will need to match so I can acquire a high level of certification. I would appreciate some pictures, measures and degree of polish so that I can send them to the shoemaker.
Here are the boots he sells, of course those are not acceptable that’s why I need to send them the pictures and guidelines.

And in this picture it looks like to have grooves
I am somewhat confused
Thanks for the help!

Hello There
As I am trying to put an olive line officer together and I would like to ask if there are any differences between the films especially what concerns to THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, the version I’ll be focusing on. I heard about differences on the rank plaques (ESB has 2 lines) and something about lines on the belt leather. Can someone clear this for me and send some pictures on the belt if that distinction really exist please.
Thanks!

Yes, that will have a straight cut as the classic British riding boots, right?
What about the side detail marked in blue?
