So I started Working on Admiral Ar'alani costume, and I was suggested to create a threat to inform on my progress, also to see if it would be possible to create the CRL.
Currently i'm using these visual references:

I just contacted him, (Darren tan) and I asked him and showed him the sketch, he said everything looks good.

These are on sale today.  Not sure exactly when they will be, but in the past that has been 7AM PST (10AM EST).  Jump on them while you can for May 27th (the date of Celebration) because they will be limited.

I was asked to create a new thread to that would detail the changes that will be made to the former Staff Officer (Non-Saga).
 
It will be getting the same treatment as the the Imperial military officer did, consolidating some CRLs and allowing greater functionality and options for members to use this costume.
 
It will have straight pants and Chelsea boots as an option. It will allow face characters including those that do not have hats as long as a reference can be provided. It will be the only black uniform to have a trench coat and/or poncho. It will have a broader option of ranks available. The Navy Trooper Helmet will be an option with this uniform. The entire CRL will be renamed from Imperial Staff officer to Imperial Security Services (Non-Saga) as the production refers to these uniforms enlisted and officer as the security services.  
 
If a member is able to do this uniform with the body armor from the Coronet Spaceport scene from Solo, that will be included as optional gear and another version.

Reference photos will follow and the write up will be available here to be reviewed before submission to the LMO office.

of course is helpful, is good to know that there is interest in this uniform, and as you say we still need some references but i think that it´s enought to at least start the proyect, thats why  I created this thread.
it's refreshing to see more people interested in this as well, maybe will have to wait for more references but I'm certain will see more of her.

I've actually found an old costume concept that I already made a few months ago, but then forgot about it because the lack of references kind of discouraged me to finish it. Remembered it now because of this thread, I don't know if this is going to help anyone because many things were just left to my imagination (e.g. the back, trousers, boots), but I thought I could just show it.
I really hope we get more visual media about the Chiss soon, maybe a comic in addition to the Ascendancy trilogy or something like that, I think that would be great.
 

Yeah on the Back I made that mistake, no offense taken thanks for pointing it out I´ll correct it when I update my progress.
I'm also waiting for more references, and as you say I think is most likely to come form a comic, also she is a big part on the coming Thrawn trilogy so I'm sure we will see more of her.
 
 
 

Very cool but still wondering if this artist is going to provide any LFL officially approved comic/novel/cartoon/trading card/magazine/role-playing game/ect image of whats needed for a complete CRL. If not, at least it'll be a great convention thing to do. 

Looks already great, I'm also planning to do an Ar'alani costume when there are more references available (I really hope she will appear in a future comic or TV series). I think I've noticed a small mistake in your sketch though: in your drawing of the back, she's wearing the shoulder pad on the left side, while she's supposed to be wearing it on the right side as seen in the references. No offense intended, you might just have overseen that somehow because it's correct in the other drawings

Yes, I already contacted the artist to ask about it, if not I will keep trying.
When I have news I´ll report them.
