Costuming and Star Wars have been life long interests so why haven't I done this earlier? Why, I learned to sew because of Star Wars ( A New Hope ).  Summer (way back) - got some mail from my parents (the kind with an actual stamp) "Saw this movie we think you'll like." So I had grandma drive me 40 miles to a theater and the love affair began...

Mom wouldn't sew me a Princess Leia costume, as she only worked with patterns and there was none to be had in '77.  So I took it upon myself to modify an angel costume made for me a Halloween previous.

Attached- Miami backyard, Dorthey Hamill hair cut - the only hair 'buns' I had were the imaginary ones when I was wearing over-sized headphones while listening to the Star Wars soundtrack ( on vinyl - Have I dated myself yet?).

But this isn't the place for 'good guys.'
