Greetings and Salutations

You may call me, Elbee.

I am a young adult in my early twenties from Alberta, Canada.

Go on and ask me what my childhood was like. Probably similar to many of those here, actually.

It sounded a lot like the "Imperial March" on a repeat loop with intermittent interruptions of the "Binary Sunset" or the opening title theme. It looked a lot like the opening text crawl of my daily personal thoughts as they ran through my mind. It felt like piling layers of fabric and plastic over my shoulders and sweating for the fun of it while my mother asked me as politely as she could, "not to wear my Vader mask out to the grocery store."

That said, the "bad guys" have always been my thing. Regardless of the media in question, I have always gravitated towards the dark side and took joy and comfort in mimicking what I could. Ergo, my decision to join this particular forum.

All of these things above paired with my love of the transformative power of costumes and my sharp attention to detail has led me to begin investigating the possibility of joining the 501st Legion. On top of this, I am looking to acquire new skills that may allow me to build costumes and pieces for my own use. Having always admired those with the ability to build their vision from a simple fantasy into a workable reality, this seemed like the first logical place to seek out individuals with the know how and the right attitude to help me along towards my personal costuming goals.

In the beginning I may not be all that active on here as far as posting content is concerned, however during my time here I hope to learn a few new skills that may allow me to contribute as more than just a common background lurker. I look forward to communicating with and learning from you all!
