[Imperial cadet helmet]

So i have tried using window tint film just to see what the outcome would be, and to use it as a test run and practice before trying to move on to something sturdier. (considering that window tint is just a film and all) But i have to ask if this would be an acceptable alternative?

Hey everyone so i have been taking a good amount of time on my helmet for this build, and have a quick question on the lenses. Now i know the CRL says to use a dark flat lens, but if one wouldn't feel confident enough to heat and curve the acrylic for the lenses and working through trial and error and using lots of money, would automotive window tint work as a suitable replacement? If not i'll be ok with slowly and painstakingly work through on the lenses.
